'If you can't take it, don't give it '.........were his words. Can fully understand the frustration of our fan though. It was a dreadful City display. Ugly even.
Re his performance......he didn't have to do a thing. We were completely inept. Can't imagine we'll play that badly collectively again this season....
...... bloody hope not anyway.

Really hope Bournemouth get relegated this season. The way GON was treated after pulling off a miracle escape was a disgrace. So glad Wolves have taken him on and look forward to it when they stuff Bournemouth. Alex can move back to us in the 24-5 season when we wave at Bournemouth as we pass them on the way up.

I'd play Roberts in front of Pring. Pring better defender and Roberts forward runs and delivery is excellent. Sam Bell and Nakhi can mix it up top.

First game. Very tight . Dull at times but we didn't lose which is very important. We can build on it, play better and keep the unbeaten run going.

Bournemouth just signed a second midfielder this season for £14m. That's £26m spent on those two already so I'd imagine they are out of the running now.

Wait until January window now. Have a great start with Scott starring in midfield and adding another 10m to his price tag. Sell him to a bigger and better club than Bournemouth and get him loaned back to us to the rest of the season to finish the job off and get us promotion.
C'mon Alex, you know that's what you want. COYR's !!

I think it’s a done deal . Protecting the asset , injury is a smoke screen. In talks announced over the weekend !
Nothing to base that on !
Feels like a smokescreen doesn't it.

There will be at least a couple of thousand season ticket holders away on their hols so it won't look full on the day.

Enjoyed that. Some good performances. Impressed with Knight.
Robins TV good for Tins insights.
Very good buy as is Roberts. I expect them both to start v Preston. Think the latter may just get the nod over Pring as his crosses have been more productive.
Dickie for me though is our best signing. Reminds me so much of Webster. Cool under pressure, solid and great distribution.

Have to agree I was happy with the 2 new signings tonight, however the January signings Cornick and Mehmeti I was hoping for them to push on from last season but didn't see it, very early days though and hoping for good seasons for them too.
Agree with both Mehmeti and Cornick. For me, Mehmeti it's a confidence issue which could be resolved but Cornick more down to lack of ability at this level.......he's just not good enough.

Excellent performance tonight and 2/3 other wonderful crosses that we should have made more of. Pring and him make great competition for the left back place. Can't split them.

From the away end he looked pretty distraught despite getting up and walking off. Looked like Achilles / back of the ankle. It wasn't a knock as no one near him.
That's exactly as I saw it although Curtis said he took a kick on ankle ?? Great news if he is ok as I too feared the worst.

Dickies runs / passing could be a really strong addition this season. Looks so composed, hopefully he can settle
