  1. 3 points would have been nice but settle for 1 to stop the mini slide. Coventry are on a decent run so wasn't going to be easy.

We were 2nd favs to be relegated when the season started and rightly so after last season's crap so we have massively outperformed expectations so far. Any City fan would have settled to being 9 points off the top after 12 so we have to be happy.

3k travelling fans to Birmingham in Saturday says it all. City are back. Hello !

  2. Feels like a big game Saturday and one we don't want to lose after 2 straight defeats albeit against very good opposition. Lose and we'll not only find ourselves adrift of the top 6 but we could find ourselves just a few points off the relegation places and a bit of doubt will set in amongst players and fans again. QPR are probably the best team we have met at home so far this season and are on a decent run so it won't be easy. That said I'd be disappointed if we couldn't take at least a point from the game. Defend like we have at home so far and I think the firepower we have could be enough for all 3. It'll be a good test though.

  4. Think it's because it's Weimann. He's had two serious knee injuries already so it's natural to be worried if he pulls up like that. He's the first name on our team sheet every week as well so it'll not be easy for anyone to take his place. Hopefully he's ok and he did just come off as a precaution.

  5. This game and to a lesser extent the next one will show us where we are at and if we have it in us to challenge for a top 6 spot this season. Not beaten Norwich in 10. Drawn 3 and Lost 7. Most of those losses we were well beaten/outclassed. I do think the team that defends better will win as both teams are full of goals. Personally think Norwich will edge it by the odd goal. Prove me wrong City !!!

We're only 6 points better off than Cardiff, who are 21st.

Think we all need to calm down a touch, still very early days!

Absolutely. Especially with Norwich and Burnley coming up. Get points from those two and bogey team Preston and then we can start getting excited. A long, long way to go. Fabulous so far though!

  7. In all the games you say he's cost us goals/points he's stopped so many goal threats and mostly dominated our box. People only highlight the mistakes. It doesn't work that way. We are definitely more solid with him this season. That's what we should all acknowledge. 3 clean sheets at home in 4 games......say no more.

Might be. I do recall a piece that's been quoted on here in recent times that said we had been awarded the least in Europe's top 30 divisions or some such.

Can't recall the timeframe but I do remember the piece was in January time and we've had none in the League since so it's surely off the charts now.

What does that record prove though??

That we always have poor refs?  Nah.

That we don't get numbers in the box enough? Maybe.

That we are too honest? Maybe.

That we don't practice falling over? Maybe.

    Must be a reason.

Three times but a very long time ago. Hereford in the 70`s I think and before that Pompey in the twenties.

Thought so. I couldn't remember it. Incredible feat to do it with the game as it is now...........and with no passing back to the keeper countless times !
