over the moon with are 2 signings now we have some good strength and height, still think we need a tall commanding goalkeeper even though max does a sound job and and a strong midfielder captain type player, the man you want in the trenches with you,i feel we have missed this type of player for far to long.im cautious but slightly confident we could be the dark horse especially if we keep young alex for another year.

WAHEYYY!!!
What a way to get promoted.
Awful game wasn't it? I thought we were really poor, Barnsley have our number this season and without that very dubious red card I don't think it'd have gone Wednesday's way today. I don't feel too sorry for them though as across the season we've been great.
When the goal went in it was a slightly strange moment, it came just a week after what was probably the most exciting and dramatic moment in any Wednesday fan's life and oddly today it was more shock and surprise than wild celebration.
Such a relief to be back in a decent division again though, and so glad I don't have to hear any more whinging about Forest Green!
i think you made a mistake saying forest green ,im sure you mean the team from the tump who play in quarters

Same here, I started going down the gate in 1982 so are by no means a glory hunter.
It would be nice to see City at the top table before I die. I'm 50 next year, it pretty pathetic that we haven't made it in my time of supporting the club. Yet I've seen teams we played in the 80's and onwards have their day in the sun.
I remember what John Atyeo said to me after the playoff defeat at Walsall he said "don't worry son, your time will come" I'm still waiting Big John!
same as me and still have me shirt , im 50 in august hopefully this will be the year for us 50 year olds

Leicester 2016 (2023)
Blackburn 1995 (1999) (2001)
Leeds 1992 (2004)
Aston Villa 1981 (1987)
Derby Co 1975 (1980)
er, Manchester Utd 1967 (1974)
Ipswich Town 1962 (1964)
Is it really worth it? Shouldn't we just be happy with our lot?
since following city as a young lad in the days of top cat terry cooper like many i have never seen us at the top table.
my only wish is in my lifetime is to be at the top table even if it is for one season.

I think Loma won it
As for Hagler v Sugar that was a robbery hagler won that easy
All of the above is only my opinion NOT fact
defo agree on hagler sugar the only reason i gave loma and haney the draw was due to haney grabbed the last round
would love to see them fight again

haney v loma what a fight not sure about robbery, bit like hagler v sugar ray could have gone either way.i had it a draw haney with good clean body shots loma with some good clean hits to the head . that good i watched it again and still could not make my mind up.

what if qpr got to beat us to send cardiff down

the amount of back tracking harry done was great, football is not just about the goals you score its the effort and commitment you put in to that shirt to win the ball back and harry has certainly got that. Starting to see why np signed him.

i feel we are building something and next season with a injury free squad and a few added additions hopefully we can make a challenge. I still think we need a strong leader on the pitch something we have been missing over the years.

He's a waster.
none of us on here know any true facts about the collapse of the fight even though many people act like they do or pretend to know something to make there selves look respectable on there boxing knowledge
most on here read the internet or the papers or judge interviews from both sides and then make a decision
and before you use the term waster i suggest you go up around the north and see the investment he has put in to local boxing gyms and charity's to help kids and people with mental illnesses.
its funny how wilder was meant to be one of the best fury made him look shite, everyone raved about fury and then tried to jump on the bandwagon due to realizing aj are great British hope is the second incoming of frank Bruno
fury will beat anyone on his day as long as he keeps himself clean and away from any bad habits i have know doubt, but know matter what he does credit will not be giving due to his background of who he his and how he was brought up.
but i am a massive fan as i think he brought something different to boxing. A character boxing needed to put a bit of life back into the sport as it has become dull over the years.

i named my first dog after him. For some unknown reason when we picked him up as a pup with his great big paws i just thought of buster, strange i know, butt the bloody dog turned out to be 12 stone beefcake and loved the freezing cold, wet and mud.

I agree to a large extent, I also think the market is very “individual” too. How desperate are each party to buy / sell, how much are they on here, does the player want to go, etc.
i think it would depend on what player we may bring in and at what cost, lot of people think we are looking for the same type of player, I think that we may look for a forward that is good in both boxes.pring bell sykes and tanner could all make good parterships from the wings but i do feel we need a big strong man on top for them to feed off also help at the back on corners and freekicks.
