Do you mean £12m basic plus lots of add-ons or rising to £12m if add-ons met?

That's an important distinction- if you mean £12m instantly rising if add-ons met then I can see that as grounds for serious negotiation.

12m plus add ons i think that is a fair price in the market today.but always depends on what replacement we are looking at

But the key point is that there's no sense of direction, impetus or momentum. And in recent seasons, its been nodding terms from a very long distance.

You are treading water. Your Lansdown life jacket will keep you afloat, but won't take you any further to where you want to go.  And what if it deflates?

Under Higgs, the Rovers were in the Conference. Under Wael, they are 8th in L1.

8th in league 1 i think your forgetting all the teams with games in hand

    higgs and wael 7000to 9000 fans steve l 19000 to to 24000

higgs and weal 2 stadiums fit for the conference sl stadium fit for the prem with add ons to come

higgs and weal training ground fit for the downs sl 10m training ground better than alot of prem sides

higgs and weal bit part academy with no profit sl academy which has all ready made good profit on home grown talent with more to come

rovers asset arron collins 1m to 3m city asset alex scott 15m to 25m plus a few more

i could go on but whats the point you gasheads are in a world of your own

blimey the health and safety inspectors need to check that out. I for one would condemn it.there that thick of all places to put it on a slope with a dodgy telescopic ladder. Shame we did not have high winds yesterday the band singing stairway to heaven would have been quite appropriate

  4. im going totally left field here but everyone always ask who and why

but i would love to see a garth Ainsworth type

    reasons

realistic chance he would be interested

works with pocket money at a small club in a fair size league of much bigger clubs

finds decent players for that level from lower leagues

uses the loan market well and gets the best out of players

yes a bit of a mavrick but seems to to always have that air of positivity about him which i think rubs of from staff to fans

shoot me down by all means but if the qpr man went to wolves many think ainsworth was up there as replacement

as everyone on here says give a name and reason so only fair i do

That’s your opinion. Mine is he’s useless and has to go. Just saying

One of, if not the worst justification for a manager who has done absolutely nothing since being here.

We are somehow arguably worse at defending set pieces than we have ever been.

Scarily inconsistent from the sublime to the absolute disgusting rubbish.

This squad has potential to do ok, it’s frontline is full of goals, there is unbelievable talent (Scott) alongside experience footballers.

Defenders who let’s not forget NP signed and yet we are languishing dangerous around relegation.

Weeks and weeks of rubbish followed by a couple of wins to paper over the cracks. I said last season he has to go, shocked to see so many sticking up for this utter dross.

well have to say im with you, many managers of other teams have been delt worse hands and its worked out fine. I think the Ashton and Johnston excuse has gone on for far too long.plus there was a spell of games where we played bloody well and scored goals for fun not to long ago.

  6. well i for one am so disappointed with this, chizora is a whipping boy and warren trying to justify this fight saying chizora is ranked 9 and thats the best they can do is a joke.i loved watching fury since day dot and have always said and stand by he is the best by a mile at this current time but i feel he is losing a bit of focus on himself as a boxer.ie (now looking to buy Morecombe football club) which anyone who has boxed on here would know you have to be at your best and committed 110%.i remember a certain tyson in 1990 who looked unbeatable lost focus and got beat to buster Dougles.

THIS TEAM IS SOFT AS **** I’ve never know a group of players that gave so little and thought they were better than they are , OUR hard earned money pay these flipping toss pots living each week but they don’t care once they go one down it’s over , no fight , no bottle  , I really hope I don’t see any of this shower of shit around town because I’m 50 years of going to ground this is the weakest bunch of men too wear a red shirt and before you lame happy clappers slate me , it’s time a few truths were told

a team full of wet lettuce

Timing and momentum can be pivotal in football.

Such a good run, scoring for fun...Preston at that time not many goals at either end hut a draw might have kept us ticking over.

While Norwich would have had a tough game both match and travel wise from Burnley on the Friday night.

Burnley travel not much but Norwich at home, Preston away would have been a challenge.

Focusing purely on us we were badly disadvantage in that little period IMO.

have to agree %100 just hope we can pick up a few results quick.i feel this league is a strange one this year as a few wins puts you up amongst it but a few defeats and your down there.i was taking the mick out of a keen cardiff and swansea fans who live by me 3 weeks ago when we catch up on a sunday morning walking the dogs.how that has change the dogs can have a runaround in the garden tommorrow?

Well our record is more varied but I won't get into that now.

It wasn't really the International break this time, we also lost to Norwichand Burnley granted played well at Norwich.

Did the mid September postponement kill our momentum a bit? Clutching a bit granted.

dont think your clutching as myself and my mates said the same at the time

  10. one thing with crosses is we always seem to take a touch then cross, cant understand why we seem to lack confidence putting the ball in first time, makes it so much harder for a defender as you can whip it in-between the defence and the keeper

Took the misses today, she hasn't been in years after all the bigging up I gave it, she don't want to come back any time soon, how disappointing. sh** atmosphere sh** result sh** everything.

     ?????????

one minute joeys beating his misses the next he takes her to football

  12. right chaps as you know i sinned last week by going to my local golf club for a evening with mr holloway.to be fair he was a gentleman and took alot of time with  myself and are table to have a bit of banter as he new i was city.i asked him many questions which some will be interested and im sure others will not but only fair i put them on here AS HE TOLD ME HE WOULD CHECK FOR QUESTOIN 1

1 did you say a good city fan is a dead one. NEVER MADE UP- and to be fair very passionate about this

2 best player he played with /ray butch wilkins

3 best player he enjoyed playing against /rob biff newman great player on the pitch true gent off the pitch also gerry gow he loved as a player

4 both sides/we are miles ahead on and off the pitch great owner and a top manager that takes no shit also how the fanbase has grown

5 on joey barton/ no comment

6 on tommy conway alex scott /great young players but both sides need to stop scouts from other clubs coming on are patch moping up under 16s like wba southampton villa and a few others

7 made i laugh/you got a bar that would grace the prem we got a portakabin with white and blue stripes and my name on it

8/owner how rich/loans says it all

9/did you get asked or would you have took city job before little lee/not a chance would i but not a chance city would ask me

10/hates millwall with a passion due to all the personal abusive behaviour towards his family had.

last one and this surprised me

wants city to get to the prem as his beloved rovers got no chance said as much as it hurts it would be great for bristol as a whole not just football but the city and the economy. Loves the derbys but hates the the trouble that comes with them classed the derby on par with celtic rangers and said god help if we get a draw in the fa cup

to be fair chaps i have always hated as a player and being a gashead but if im honest i found him a true gent and very honest last week who made a big effort for charity which alot of money was raised. There is no doubt he is bristol as a whole through thick and thin and even took the piss out of me being from the forest of dean asking me did i come with me tractor and pitchfork. Also was shocked when i said there i over 100 city supporters from fod and chepstow but said that is great to here

for me never judge a book by its cover or just because he is a rival/yes i know im going soft
