Personally I think it is the level of away support throughout the leagues that make English Football special. I like a good away crowd for the atmosphere that that provokes the home crowd to respond to. Should the away crowd shout loud and proud , then I feel we should not try and restrict them, but rather respond to them. We do , quite simply have the numbers. Who needs a library…….

We need to win the next game, then , repeat. Simples

Last season wasn’t wrong, it was right for that season. Last season proved it is statistics that are wrong. Remember , if 20%of road accidents are caused by drunk drivers, statistically banning the sober ones would be sensible

There’s the rub

I agree we probably won’t make the playoffs, however all of these calculations are based on what clubs have done “so far” this season, and not on the unknown of what they “will do” over the remaining matches. Remember when Roy Keane’s Sunderland went from bottom to top over half a season, what would their stats calculation have looked like at the halfway point? The only certainty in my mind that really boils my pee, is that had we retained Alex Scott for one further season, we would have more points than we do, would be better placed to make the playoffs, and should we have (for once) actually won through, more money in the bank than what we received from the mighty Bournemouth & Boscombe . At least we now have a run in to have some fun with COYRS ️

Two more wins

I remember a few years back when he , due ti injuries, got put in to the team to play Brentford away. The City fans , in the tiny Griffin Park, were chanting his name from the first minute to give him the best support we could. Clean sheet and , if I remember correctly, a 1-0 win.

Good keeper , who has grown into the role , and is still improving. Absolute keep.

As to the “we’re clearly wanting to commit a bit of money” bit, I really hope you are right , but sadly doubt that the powers that be have any intention of doing anything other than buying young players with potential (see this last window) and the occasional seasoned pro ( Dickie / Cornick , both free) to keep us up. In other words yet another mid table season , based on our favourite result , won nothing. Trust Alex Scott is enjoying life by the sea. The only point to what remains of the season is to establish LMs style of play , and assess what positions need strengthening. Assuming that is , that the club will back him in the summer by retaining players he likes and funding the purchase of those he wants. Same old same old

I was seated about half way up on the half way line with the West Ham fans and the view was great. A football ground in a shopping centre is however, not me. As to the concourse, it was massive, with a large outdoor area as well, not sure where Walsh.s left foot was. Great day , and good bouncing

Just as well know one told Luton Town that , or Burnley , or Brentford , or at the time of promotion Brighton or Crystal Palace , Bournemouth etc etc. Remember , negative people have a problem for every solution We are Bristol City not Cheltenham Town and absolutely should be challenging the biggest and the best, we should at least f*****( try.
