At what point did I say I was offended. I mentioned the Union flag to identify where I was but hey ho you believe what you want.
I merely said I went to both Ibrox and Parkhead and found the latter much friendlier and welcoming. Às an additional bit of info to further scramble all the anti Irish sentiment on here, both times I went as a guest of the Royal Navy!
I found the opposite to be the case. Rangers fans have always been great to me; while I have had strip lights thrown at me through bus windows by the other lot. Had they been allowed off the bus I am sure I would have been killed.
Directly after an Old Firm game mind, which Rangers won 5-1.
The behaviour of the Rangers fans who came to the friendly match at AG a few years ago was impeccable. Celtic fans have a history of antagonising fans in England by singing provocative songs (Lee Rigby when they visited Sunderland FFS) ; and behaving badly. Shouting abuse at troops who were parading at Arsenal another example.

Quiet tonight yet he still has a brace. Italy look beaten now, body language tells the story.
This is the poorest Italy side I have seen for some time.

If Malta beat Ukraine (and they’re beating them 1 nil as it stands) we will qualify regardless of defeat tonight, it’s pretty much in the bag.
Yeah, but Malta are shite; I would be amazed if they beat Ukraine

Big game at Wembley tonight. Qualifiers can be a bit dull when you’re nailed on to qualify but this is a good chance to get one back on Italy after they denied us a first Euros recently. We win tonight and its advantage Ukraine for second place and Italy may fail to qualify... Let’s ave ittttt
It would be funny if Italy failed to qualify AGAIN.
Italy are a similar power to England in world football, (one of the "big five" in Europe).
It grates somewhat that they have won the Euros twice, and have FOUR world cups to our measly one, which was nearly 60 years ago.

So you think City singing songs about Aberfan is OK? Anti semetic chants aimed at Spurs? Songs about Hillsborough? Just because Celtic sing Anti English and Royal songs you're offended. Having been to both Ibrox and Celtic Park, one set of fans was friendly and welcoming, one were psychotic thugs off their t*ts and there was union jacks everywhere!
Union Jacks everywhere ?
My God, the bastards !

Same here, wife and I had both on Saturday morning, one in each arm. We both had a bit of soreness in the arm we don't normally get injections in, but other than that are is hunky dory.
The exact same for me. Comments from other people, including friends & family suggested this year’s flu jab was more likely of the two to cause issues. Therefore I had flu in left arm and Covid in right arm.
Of course, it was the right arm that was a little sore for a few hours !

Bournemouth play Wolves and Burnley in the next 2 fixtures. They could probably do with winning both of those as the 3 after are Liverpool (cup), Man City and Newcastle.
Reckon they’ll be after a new Guy by bonfire night…
Hopefully he will be even worse.

I said that just now. Two good games to get out of the way, not many teams will pick up points from either club. We must pick up our home form though, minimum expectation should be a point if not all 3.
Yep.
Cov up next at AG.
Not a MUST win game obviously, but a NEED to win game, to get the AG form going.

Think he'll be gone in January. Not good enough unfortunately.
He's too predictable for the opposition.

Leicester Away, followed shortly by Leeds Away.
The two toughest away trips this season IMO, and we haven't been disgraced at either, each defeat by just the one goal.
(When will we ever win at Elland Road, though ?).

2015 for once get a man sent off.
That is "evened out" of course by the opposition having two sent off !

Sadly this is the sort of game I alluded to after the Birmingham result. I just think we will be overpowered in this one
Big partisan crowd, decent solid team in Leeds - it’s not the type of game we usually flourish in. I think we will lose this one quite comfortably
3-0 Leeds
Yep.
Somewhat like Birmingham, we always seem to produce one of our worst performances of the season v Leeds. In many instances they have been gifted the points.

I still think Warne would have got more out of Rotherham squad than Taylor but who knows.
As for last night, isn't it vintage Bristol City that Blackett probably age somewhere between 25-30 scores his first ever English League goal against us with their only shot on target.
Agree with this. Warne made a habit of getting Rotherham to "bounce back" after relegation.
Can't really see Taylor doing this; assuming he lasts the season (?), and I have Rotherham as relegation certs.

Not impossible, but very unlikely IMO
It would be like Hollowhead being appointed to manage us.
