I’m enjoying Man United's current struggles. Super League my arse

    Love seeing them struggle.

Hopefully the Glazers don’t sell in the end, just to piss of their plastic fans even more.

His best game for me on Saturday as was brilliant.  The balance in midfield not quite right for me as we lack creativity but Knight/James are certain starters with the other place up for grabs.

Yep. I am looking forward to the time that we have enough CBs available to allow Naismith to move back into midfield.

Knight / James / Naismith would be a very decent midfield.

They used to get home crowds of less than 5k back then & bar the odd cup game, I can't really remember playing them much back in those days.

The Salako game at Ashton Gate is the only game that springs to mind 88/89..? Then a couple of cup ties.

    89/90.

The Swansea game at AG was fairly early in the season, Salako (on loan from Palace) tore us a new one, we lost 1-3.

As noted above, the return was a 5-0 at the Vetch, as we headed towards promotion, behind a team the name of which I can’t remember.

Does anyone know what happened with Jobe Bellingham? Why did  Birmingham let him go to Sunderland?

I'm not saying he's going to be as good as his brother but he looks some player

Remember when the 15ers signed Timmy Abraham, expecting him to be as good as Tammy ? 😂😂

Not sure if he even made an appearance for them ?! 😂

Good old Parachute Payments and PL cash. The key question  is what happens if they don't go up this year- as this is their 2nd and final season. As far as these clubs go they cut their cloth quite well but their model has not truly been tretrd yet. See also Fulham and Bournemouth who usually get up in time plus spend big.

Indeed to add, for them and Watford they currently are on the £61m 3 year loss limit plus allowables and in their 2nd and final year of Parachute Payments.

Should they stay down, that falls to £39m...and their Parachute Payments plus Championship TV cash falls to Solidarity Payments plus Championship TV cash.

By way of example Norwich, following their 2010-11 promotion.

    2011-12...PL cash

    2012-13...PL cash

    2013-14...PL cash- Relegated

2014-15...Championship cash plus Parachute Payments- Won playoffs, instant return.

    2015-16...PL cash- Relegated.

    2016-17..Championship cash plus Parachute Payments.

    2017-18..Championship cash plus Parachute Payments.

2018-19...Championship cash plus Solidarity Payments- Promoted! As Champions.

    2019-20- PL cash- Relegated

2020-21- Championship cash plus Parachute Payments- Promoted! As Champions.

    2021-22- PL cash- relegated.

2022-23- Championship cash plus Parachute Payments.

2023-24- Championship cash plus Parachute Payments- ??

I would really like to see tWatford have to compete without parachute payments.

Their Italian owners have got away with enough of circumnavigating some of the transfer rules, IMO.

None of these Rovers' plans even mention at any stage funding, let alone a business plan. They are all just pie in the sky.

    Nail on head.

The 15ers never have had; and probably never will have , the funds for a new stadium.

When I've read about similar with private individuals building unauthorised houses or extensions they are often ordered to tear them down.

Council planning officers really don't like arrogant people who totally ignore the rules and their guidance and usually give it to them with both barrels.

I think that there is a real possibility that Rovers will be ordered to tear it down with their only remaining option being to rebuild their old stand exactly as it was.

That would be perfect. However, I suspect they will get away with this.

If you don’t know about the links between Italian Ultras and neo fascists, that’s not my fault, nor is it weird. Nor of course the echoes of the British Union of Fascists (the Blackshirts) under Oswald Mosley. Not all Ultras are fascists, but some are, and the look is not just a coincidence.

These kids of course may well also be unaware and blindly following a fashion. But the masks and Casuals tag suggest a desire to link with violence and that’s enough to condemn them in my eyes.

The same look as Antifa use today.

I notice you haven’t mentioned that bunch of ***** at all ?
