Someone on Slagchat actually thinks that's a great turnout.

...but then this is the same deluded idiots that slag off our attendances and reckon they'd get 20 odd thousand every other week at the UWE if they were in the Championship. Full of shit.

I kid you not the other week on their one of them started a thread which said something like 'are we some of the best fans in England'

it then had the usual bollocks about how great there away support is as a % to their home support, what they don't actually realise is - they just have shit home support and average away support

    ******* deluded

IF, and it's a big IF, their away support is so much better than ours - what about their home support?

They can't even fill those tents at home and we're selling out pretty much every home game having won only 2 at home all season

some of them also think you can use your home support to away support as a % on how 'amazing' they are!

Using their logic Man United have some of the worst away support I the country.

Our blue friends that have been all over our forum lately are strangely quiet tonight. Funny that.

I've just been reading a 4 page thread on how their away support is still far superior to ours (despite taking over 8k away over the last 2 away games)

The bit I really like is when one particular poster said our average on 1400 was poor last season and if they were in the same position they would take loads more!

If they are so ******* loyal why don't they take more than that now?

I believe that after City were wound up and before the City(1982) version was launched, a Rovers director (can't remember which one) approached the liquidators with an offer of £100,000 for Ashton Gate.

The offer was rejected and the re-formed club acquired the ground. Obviously whether this is viewed as an attempt to 'steal' the ground, or a logical attempt to acquire the only available football stadium in Bristol by a team that didn't own one, probably depends on who you support.

For what it's worth I wouldn't want to watch Rovers at Ashton Gate, anymore than most City supporters would want Eastville to have been home.

It all ended up ok though for you, you managed to steal the rugby ground instead.

I do hope these inbreds come back to see our stadium upgrade!

    3 things

    WTF is a 'has' head?

Why has one of them gone to football wearing their mothers handbag?

Most of them are just standing there pretending to piss on the gates - why would you lie about taking a leak? Strange 'Has' heads indeed!

What a great 2016 we are in for, frampton quigg, hopefully Saunders eubank and heavy weight fights

Agreed, and not long to wait to see what Haye is looking like on his return. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but he's generally good to watch

Have you watched the gloves are off on sky with aj and whyte, total muppet whyte is,just a thug

Yeah I watched it yesterday - the bloke is an idiot and will get knocked out I hope -

I've not seen a heavyweight with the potential of AJ for a long time, he just needs a fight where he actually gets hit back so we can see how he stands up to it.

Finally looks like khans water legs have got tired of running and he's gonna fight special k,khans chin must be dreading it

My money will be on Khan for that fight!

I can't wait for next Sats card

Would Haye of got near Fury though?? Haye doesn't have the reach of Klitschko who failed to close the distance effectively.

Haye just isn't a proper heavyweight and as long as Fury kept him at arms length then I don't see how he could win.

Fury has said he won't give Haye the opportunity of fighting him now anyway after Haye pulled out of those fights so we may never know.

He punches aswell as any heavyweight, would he get near enough though to Fury is definatley the question.

It intrigues me, Hopefully Haye will impress in jan to get himself a shot as Money does talk and I reckon this fight could sell out anywhere in England.

I'm not so sure, people really underestimate Tyson. Peter fury is a great trainer and very good at making a game plan as last night shows.

Haye is a big puncher and is able to finish, Cunningham put Tyson on his arse and I think Haye would have finished that fight off had it been him in that position.

It's still a fight I'd love to see

Haye's planning comeback, I hate Haye, I want him to comeback and then get retired again quick smart preferably by a big knockout.

Back on Jan 16th, I love David Haye, great boxer and I still think he would have beaten Fury

  12. didn't say no-one does but..... hes prob the strongest/fittest forward we have and took a one hell of a beating up top tonight....and by a few on here it seems.

FFS leave him and SC alone

I really don't think people are getting on Wilbs back other than saying he was knackered. He can't help that and IMO should have been taken off for no other reason than he had run himself in to the ground.
