  1. Looking at the table at the moment, could add Brentford to that list...
  2. Losing by the odd goal to Burnley does not in itself a meltdown make, or really should not. One point from three home games is not however clever, especially when we arguably at times 'battered' all the other sides. Not really the formation issue last two games. We are sounding like one of those lower league sides, who have a good go against a higher league side, seem to be creating all the chances, then bang, they are a goal down, either through a touch of class, or an error. All the fans then go home scratching their heads - but that is kind of what makes them a higher league side! No panic, just concerned right now. Mood music at the club all seems off key at the moment as well. Just need somebody to revive the thread from a few years back about 'we are going to hammer somebody 5-0 soon'. Worried. Ps: somebody on post on corners?
  3. This half, just sounds like they have killed the game off, and done it effectively.
  4. Substitution Substitution, Bristol City. Callum Robinson replaces Joe Bryan. Not an obvious one to me, but not there in fairness.
  5. Not sure corners count as counters? Need to get the basics right, whatever our formation.
  6. Blimey, that is a huge call. Sounds like we have done ok, just making basic mistakes. Let's see where we are come the end of the game before we go in to meltdown.
  7. O dear. Sounds like when we have the ball we are looking lively. Easy to blame the fact we have not scored, but unless we start defending basic set pieces better we are really going to struggle. They have had two corners, two efforts on target, and lead two nil. Not good enough. Fingers crossed as ever.
  8. Not the first we have conceeded from a corner. Bum fluff. Smash and grab really, against the run of play.
  9. We are sounding lively and well on top. Fancy we need to score during this period, but not yet.
  10. Sounds like we are well on top at the moment...let's hope we can keep it tight as well.
  11. Were always going to need a little of that today. Equally, we were by far the more dangerous side in the first half, or so it sounded.
  12. Their manager's reasons for making so many changes... "I changed it because Fabbrini played three in a row after no pre- season with us. Kike played three in a row and we have Nugent in his position. Kalas played where he did because of the long balls we expected and Gibbo has had an injury and I didn't want to take any chances. Albert has played three in a row and I felt he was tired having played stunning in his position." Three in a row, at this stage of the season? Goodness me. With our first team, they need proper injuries (or be sent off) to miss any games at all!
  13. Great write up, thanks! Funny old game - from that Hamer, Pack and Williams arguably the best three - what do we know!
  14. Doubly pleased with this one, as it really felt they were disrespecting us somewhat with the team they put out. Might have that wrong, but on paper, seemed to be 'resting' some of their stronger players. That will teach them!
  15. Fantastic win, and big shout out to Hamer who sounded like he made some great saves. Really unexpected, but hopefully last two games have shown the team that even with this squad, we have nothing to be scared of in this league. Real backs to the wall stuff second half, but get in there! Also real nice to actually be the bogie team to somebody else!
  16. Looking at stats, for what they are worth, just reinforce how we are playing, possession they are well ahead, but matching them for shots, and ahead of shots in target. One of those that unless they pull in around, which is possible, their manager will come in for some stick for his changes.
  17. Listening, and sounds nervy, as they have by far the most of the ball, but in hindsight not really created much. However, we are being direct and sounding dangerous when going forward. Ppm aye should be two up. Long long way to go, but almost regardless of score we are sounding competitive, which is warming.
  18. I confidently predict that if we maintain our current scoring rate of three goals every 15 minutes of play, we will do well.
  19. Might show how they rate us I am afriad, that they can do that. It will show things are going well if he feels the need to bring them on.
  20. They are genuine promotion contenders, give away very few goals particularly at home, and have some real class. They would expect to win this type of game nine times out of ten. We just need to make it the tenth.
  21. http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/competitions/championship/9957201/bristol-city-2-2-leeds Highlights. Does show how many chances we did create. And our poor defending.
  22. It is obviously frustrating being two down with no time left, and I was with you! Listening, what was most frustrating was it just seemed so easy for Leeds. We were on top for long periods, and then we were murdered on a break. Repeat. Hopefully, just a case of getting the balance right. I honestly think it is that as much as signing x number of players.
  23. All bar the goalie were here last year at the end. Not entirely sure it is the squad as such, although better players help, or even the system. Its a balance, but seems we are to ambitious, and far to open to the break. Confidence also comes in to it, and today must help that.
