  1. Same. Maybe papering over some cracks, but just now enjoying the paper!
  2. Almost! Kieran Agard gets in front of his man to meet a Wes Burns cross from the right but it's just wide. What a difference he's made since coming on.
  3. Maybe a little early to make that call, but playing like we are 1-0 down with a couple to go from the first whistle will always flatter to deceive.
  4. BBC Sport's Nabil Hassan at Ashton Gate: "Totally naive defending from Bristol City and now they've got a mountain to climb. Classic smash and grab this from Leeds United."
  5. Good that we seem to be playing ok. At this level however, a good team needs to be able to play 90 mins without 'mad decisions', otherwise it is not a good performance. Anyhow, fingers crossed for the second half.
  6. Hull lead but what a disastrous moment for Fulham just before the break - goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli and Matt Smith have both had to be replaced after a collision.
  7. It is thin lines. There were many times last season teams would have said they were more than matching us, we just scored more! We are now looking at it from the other end of the telescope. Have not seen it, but if it was four on one, then that really should not happen - last minute or two when chasing, but that is it. At the moment teams must think soak up some pressure, do the basics right, and chances will come. Hopefully we can turn this one around.
  8. BBC Sport's Nabi Hassan at Ashton Gate: "A goal totally against the run of play and it has stunned Ashton Gate. Ben Hamer is having a rocky start to his Bristol City career. This is a big test of character for Steve Cotterill's side." Sounds like niave how we get picked off on the break so far.
  9. BBC Sport's Nabil Hassan at Ashton Gate: "Not much to report here in terms of chances. Jonathan Kodjia's pace is causing Leeds' defence concerns while Bristol's back three look slightly nervy - as you would expect from a team searching for their first points of the season."
  10. Fredericks booked at 3m. As he is in Freemans position, really hope he can get through the rest with no sillyness.
  11. 0-0, abandoned at half time for fog a classic. Won the rearranged game from memory, as part of our great escape.
  12. Not so much the individuals for me, as right now the shape of the team and lack of numbers of experienced midfielders. Lets hope if nothing else we can look much more solid and harder to play through.
  13. Good read. So we can with some justification all sing "Your Welsh and you know you are" etc?
  14. I very much enjoy the MDT and look forward to reading it. Having said that, its easy for me to say. If it is a case of its about time and effort for you, then maybe you could take a padawan under your wing to help out on days when other stuff gets in the way? And what do you know about a Pole then? A deadline? You are ITK?
  15. If you are a Wednesday fan you would say that was comfortable. We will be disappointed by both goals we let in, and equally they will feel they could have got more. Really allowed them to dictate the game after half time until they scored, and we seemed unable to pass and keep possession. Only time we put any pressure on was late on, when they seemed happy to play deep and try and catch us on the break. We know this group of players can pass and move much better than they did today. Disappointing start, but I am sure we will be ok.
  16. Been second best in fairness, passing not quite working and grateful they missed some good chances. Still, 0-0 and in it, so onwards and upwards.
  17. Fact being stranger than fiction, they may be focussed on their own piece of high court drama today, involving an inflatable shark... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-humber-33509197
  18. In a minority I know. I want to laugh. I really do. Its them over the road. Just find it difficult not to feel something for the real footie fans in their lot who have been screwed over again. I know. I know.
  19. Any local pubs showing the game live? Gut feel on this one will be some compensation to Rovers, but way below the cost of the ground. Complete guess, and we will see!
