I think the reason that end is noisy is probably because it's next to the away fans...the move could shoot them in the foot.

Are you seriously suggesting that an architect was involved here…….?
Yes, but they only paid for half the job, stopped at the centre support pillars - feeding stalls and water troughs also missing

I’m sure there is enough space to have at least 30 portaloos along that back wall. The gaps in the cladding will provide some ventilation - it should smell no worse than the area around Glastonbury’s long drops!

Feel like we don't realise how much of a gap there is sometimes. I don't remember in my (comparatively short to other OTIB members) lifetime an attendance that low at City.
******* mental. 9.8k? What does the Lansdown hold?
11,000 I think

9,832 in attendance.
832 more than we took to West Ham and about 1,200 less than were in the Landsdown last night

It’s where they were planning on putting a big screen but last I’d heard, they’d changed their minds and were now filling it in and putting seats there.
Not sure if it’s been done or not though
To fit in the portacabin toilets and pasty shack?

Of course they have, took 80,000 to Wembley, 10,000 to Maidstone and never less than 40,000 to the gate for derbies

if SS was at the front of the South Stand wouldn't it obscure the view of those sitting at the rear? If SS went along the back of the South Stand there would be a break between sitting and standing, those sitting would be halfway up the stand or thereabouts.
I'd rather sit but I don't want to sit at the sides.
To guarantee seated spectators clear sight lines standing would have to be to the rear of the SS and seating to the front...Cardiff did this at Ninian in the away section of the Grange End, crap view for all, but if you were seated you got an unobscured crap view! Personally, I'm a purest - standing behind the goals and in the side enclosures- seating on the sides only...never got the Boothferry/Ayersome/White Heart Lane/Victoria/single tier standing/sitting thing...fine with the proper Goodison/Bramall Lane double decker style seats over standing configuration or even the Dell Standing over Standing

Also was it the biggest attendance we’ve ever played in front of bar finals?
I think it must be, only Old Trafford and White Heart Lane are bigger and we've not played there since they were expanded. I don't remember seeing city's name on any of the record attendance lists of the big old grounds that might have had a capacity of over 60k back in the day...Goodison, Highbury, the Valley, Stamford Bridge, Main Road, Villa Park etc..

It's so bloody frustrating. When I saw he had singed for those in-breds I was worried, as he knows where the back of the net is the frigging traitor.
As it is they lost
But Chris, PLEASE STOP SCORING FOR THESE WANCHORS, as all they deserve is complete misery for wearing that clown of a shirt, with slap on Brut, Coconut Dandruff, Black Teeth, No Teeth, Denham Jackets, and Garden Centre Trainers.
Denham jackets, could be outer garments purchased at the Denham giant car boot nr Uxbridge...or the Paul Tisdale style hacking jacket so beloved of the posh burgers of Denham Village, which is proper posh! I'm going for the first one!

Apparantly Alan Ball found the Hummel boots so bad he simply dipped his black adidas boots in whitewash to protect his sponsorship deal

Amazing, exactly the same attendance as their 3-1 defeat at Bloomfield Rd. In December
