Couldnt get to the Gate so Robins TV did the trick. Leroy loves the players and club, particularly Liam. What a great series of opinions about our coach- might be worth that seagul from Weston taking a listen!! I bet a lot of other recent moaners wont be on here tonight.

With a transfer window to come, with Zak our oldest player starting at 26 and with inspired subs like Liam has made tonight i reckon all our season ticket holders will be delighted  and encouraging their mates too join up as well for August; it isnt long now. Up the City!

Unlike City’s form you haven’t changed then.

    Still an absolute cretin.

  2. I’d imagine a few of you would have seen Gab Sutton on Twitter, a completely harmless lad that tweets about the football league.

The absolute ******* that used to manage Rovers decided to send him this… because he committed the grave crime of not having Paddy Madden in his team of the week. ******* pond life.

If he wasn’t so utterly nasty it would be amusing just how much he has lost the plot.

10 no balls in 15 overs, are we trying too hard?

up to 16 from 28 now

    Very odd high number

No balls are 2 runs in the championship so there has only been half that amount.

Its still quite a lot, but Gregory always bowls a lot of them and it seems Leonard also struggles.

Agar for Kent was bowling quite a few yesterday as well so I don’t know if in this instance it’s partly due to the wind messing up bowlers in their run up.

Well done all. That's much more like it.

We've been dreadful in recent weeks - slow, ponderous and negative - and it's been really tough to watch. Loads of us have felt really disillusioned about the direction of travel and worried about the future under Liam Manning if that's the route he wanted to take us down.

This weekend, however, we've felt much more like the Bristol City we've all been watching over the past year or two.

Now I just implore us to stay along that path. Make the odd tweak, by all means, but we're a squad full of pace, aggression and running. Play to our bloody strengths and you'll get the best out of them - as this weekend has shown!

One other thing... Liam Manning's subs in both games have also largely made a really positive difference. So much for not being able to have an impact during the game, eh?

    Great post.

We have had a tough 2024 against sides who are not in or aspiring to be in the top flight of English football. Against the best we have been coached and set up really well. After yesterdays superb performance where TC ran the channels so well and deserved a penalty post match debate threw up an interesting one i'd like you views on.

We know Tinman loves both these players he has seen grow from kids to potential top class strikers. He will doubtless have a say in who we keep, sell etc but if you could only keep one of our own who would it be. I love TC and his late goals at Rotherham after the worst 45 mins football i have ever attended, but yesterday he didnt take any of his chances. Sam is faster, gave us a magic moment at Swansea in the cup last season and has really taken the chance Tinman gave him

I suspect Liam has already decided who he wants to come into the club and probably who he has to let go from our bunch of forwards. Which of these two would you keep if they were equally fit and raring to go next season?

You’re either on wind up, or the thickest *** going around.

Every single post is a complete steaming pile of turd. Well done.

  6. Obviously it didn’t happen against Leeds, but like in the Ipswich and Southampton (apparently we beat Southampton???) games I imagine we’ll play better today.

This is overly simplistic, but when we can be reactive we’re still a reasonable team, it’s just when we have to be proactive we’re absolutely useless.

It really is quite sad that you have to wait for games in which the opposition are likely to dominate the ball to feel that you might be even slightly entertained.

Yeah fair play, that’s a bit over the top. That’ll teach me for scrolling and not reading properly.

Remember us beating Sheff U 2-0 at AG very early in the playoff season, we were brilliant (definitely front foot, attacking football..) McIndoe & Sproule took them apart.

Still to this day probably the best I think I’ve seen us play at this level, absolutely incredible performance.

As you say, that WBA draw was an absolutely brilliant game of football as well.
