  1. Letting him leave and not having either James or Naismith available has left our team severely lacking leadership, which it very much needs as they’re not getting any help from the touchline.

Cannot believe anyone over the age of about 8 can find any problem with his tweet.

Good luck to him, absolute top pro.

  2. If you’re in the majority I’d be surprised.

Everyone I speak to about City wants Manning sacked as soon as possible, the people around me at the ground actually moved on last Sunday from being angry at him to just openly mocking him.

Not since Pulis has a City manager been so unpopular and so quickly. This weird chapter in what is a very weird club needs bringing to an end.

  3. Every time you watch Liverpool you can see Jurgen Klopp’s personality come out in his team.

Unfortunately the same goes for Bristol City and the mood hoover we have in charge.

I’m a bit tired of being told “things have been worse” as a defence of our perpetual averageness.

Things have also been a lot worse for Luton, Bournemouth, Brentford, Burnley, Ipswich and Coventry.

    It’s so dull supporting us.

Only thing more boring than watching us play is the ‘oh we’ve been worse before’ or mentioning clubs that are currently doing worse than us.

wow you have time to digest what our esteemed leader has to say then take it aart.

I guess i didnt see you commenting on what Pearson said post match, even though he could talk for hours, all he ever said was "yeah, it's really frustrating..blah blah - i dont know how we will stop giving away goals when we should have made better decision"; If you could ever bear to listen to the clown for 30 months, you would know exactly what i mean. At least now, Liam talks footballing lingo albeit too frequently interspersed with "yeah, in terms of" (which actually says nothing!)

All coaches have to speak to the fans for x mins per week which is a great shame. Alan Dicks would give a 5 min preview of the upcoming game and a 3 line quote, if we were lucky, after the match and that was when there really was a lot to talk about in the top division

Come on I believe in you, one post without chatting utter shit about Nigel Pearson, I reckon you can do it.

Absolutely correct. Liam's team is much easier to predict than his 2 (3) predecessors which is good for pre-match chat but probably easier for the oppo coach to read as well. One good thing about Pearson's selections were the oppo had no idea who would play nor in what position; i doubt our players did either and during our most enterprising season under him (21/22) when the 3 three forwards he inherited (W-S-M) scored all those goals, he left his legacy of "we cant defend to save yer life", conceding 77 goals despite some expensive players like Bents and Kalas being available

As Graham says, i'm glad to be at the game but cant see us getting anything

Come on, be honest, troll or moron?

I disagree. There is a real anti feeling about football in general, with the obscene amounts of money spent and wasted at all top levels (FIFA, Uefa, Saudi P.L) which i suspect we can all understand.

At a local level there is a realization we are unlikely to go up (FFP, Parachute etc etc) in the next 10 years although there will generally be one club per season that does break the rule. There is very little chance we will go down as other clubs are badly run, have poorer squads, will get points deducted etc.

As a Watford fan friend said to me; we had better get used to playing each other for the next decade and watching bigger clubs go below us and smallest clubs (Luton) temporarily go above us.

I cannot see why people want to take the p*** out of our club when our supporters have so much ammo to do the same with our rivals. Maybe its because the gas are no longer rivals.

Anyway, i for one have a huge amount of gratitude for the owners, love the stuff Tinns does for the club, especially bringing on academy players so our club can sell and survive. Until we know of a better potential buyer the critics of the Lansdowns should belt up, get behind the club and go to the games, like many of my mates do.

I fully appreciate you and others dont see it the way i do but that is fine. What isnt fine is to take the p*** out of our club, on a BCFC forum just to attract attention to yourself

    What a good little customer.

  8. Just another extremely odd moment in an extremely odd afternoon at Ashton Gate.

Increasingly becoming more and more of an odd football club to be honest.

  9. I said during the second half yesterday (before he scored), forget his quality defensively he’s our best and most progressive passer of the ball and to be honest if I was having to bet on a city player most likely to score I’d also go for him.

Excellent signing. When you consider how much money was wasted on absolute crap under Johnson and Ashton both Dickie and Sykes are two of our best bits of business in a long time.

I'll bet you any money in the world that Manning would pick Sykes for that position every single week if the player wasn't coming back from injury.

Dont know how we settle that bet.

  11. Sorry we now have to credit the manager for bringing on Mark Sykes for Harry Cornick? A substitution that surely 99% of the fans wouldn’t have had to make as we’d have all started our most effective attacking player rather than brining him on after 56 minutes.
