There’s a bloke we’re still paying that could come back and offer any advice that Andy King needs as well.

Letting him leave and not having either James or Naismith available has left our team severely lacking leadership, which it very much needs as they’re not getting any help from the touchline.

Everyone I speak to about City wants Manning sacked as soon as possible, the people around me at the ground actually moved on last Sunday from being angry at him to just openly mocking him.

Not since Pulis has a City manager been so unpopular and so quickly. This weird chapter in what is a very weird club needs bringing to an end.

It doesn’t scan as well I admit, but there would be more truth in ‘we’re a decent mid table team that’s had the life sucked out of it by this manager’.

Literally a very simple decision, sack him before the end of this season (preferably now) or be forced to sack him next season as we face relegation.

Every time you watch Liverpool you can see Jurgen Klopp’s personality come out in his team.

Unfortunately the same goes for Bristol City and the mood hoover we have in charge.

All coaches have to speak to the fans for x mins per week which is a great shame. Alan Dicks would give a 5 min preview of the upcoming game and a 3 line quote, if we were lucky, after the match and that was when there really was a lot to talk about in the top division

At a local level there is a realization we are unlikely to go up (FFP, Parachute etc etc) in the next 10 years although there will generally be one club per season that does break the rule. I cannot see why people want to take the p*** out of our club when our supporters have so much ammo to do the same with our rivals. Maybe its because the gas are no longer rivals.

Anyway, i for one have a huge amount of gratitude for the owners, love the stuff Tinns does for the club, especially bringing on academy players so our club can sell and survive. Until we know of a better potential buyer the critics of the Lansdowns should belt up, get behind the club and go to the games, like many of my mates do.

I fully appreciate you and others dont see it the way i do but that is fine. What isnt fine is to take the p*** out of our club, on a BCFC forum just to attract attention to yourself

Just another extremely odd moment in an extremely odd afternoon at Ashton Gate.

Increasingly becoming more and more of an odd football club to be honest.

Win a game while having the majority of possession, something he hasn’t managed yet.

I said during the second half yesterday (before he scored), forget his quality defensively he’s our best and most progressive passer of the ball and to be honest if I was having to bet on a city player most likely to score I’d also go for him.

Excellent signing. When you consider how much money was wasted on absolute crap under Johnson and Ashton both Dickie and Sykes are two of our best bits of business in a long time.

Sorry we now have to credit the manager for bringing on Mark Sykes for Harry Cornick? A substitution that surely 99% of the fans wouldn’t have had to make as we’d have all started our most effective attacking player rather than brining him on after 56 minutes.
