Virtute et Industrial.
The Bristol motto. Needs a little work, but almost includes the line.... If the City don't win Saturday the Saggies never will.

Can't imagine many away fans dream is to see the Memorial Ground.
Unless it's for the comedy factor or to check if all the rumours are actually true.

Think that might be a bit of a whoosh, but then again your legendary status as the progenitor of this thread all 3163 pages ago affords you no small degree of immunity
Awww thanks.
Fair enough, but I don't get the whoosh...maybe the Pussers kicking in.
Can someone please explain?

No team that plays in red would ever play in blue, or vice versa, that would be ridiculous
Really?
I seem to remember Man U and Arsenal playing in blue.
They didn't think it was so rediculous.

Don't like how they've done our lettering in blue and white
Why? Blue used to be a hindrance...but it's not of any relevance now.
An away kit of Bristol Blue would be cool, as.... there is only one team in Bristol.

Is Scotty, super Scott - Martin Scott, Alex Scott or Scott Murray?
I’m guessing Scott Murray with the super reference but all three could be considered worthy of a place.
I'm afraid health problems along with a house move down here have prevented me seeing City this season...first time for over 55 years. So I've missed Alex's progress unfortunately. But when he was breaking into the side previously I noticed how good he was at getting fouled....Grealish style. Turns out Grealish is his hero so not a bad person to mould your style on. Alex has a bright future ahead of him.
So, in answer to your question... the Scott in my team is indeed Super Scotty Murray. Especially THAT season when Tinman was supplying the ammo and Scotty was firing the bullets. The opposing teams knew it was coming.... but could do nothing to stop it. An amazing time.

Only playing ten players ?
No, Bas Savage is my Maverick.
He plays where he wants.
A late addition to the subs bench (thanks to Spike jogging my memory) Shaun Taylor has to be in there.

Possibly a City v Rovers clash then.
-
Probably not the best team, just the players I looked forward to seeing in a City shirt.
GK Gibbo. Better than Yashin
RB Les Wilson. Not here long enough
CH Flinty. No No No!
CH Norman. My favourite player of alltime
LB Micky Bell. We got Micky Bell
RM Scotty. Super Scott
CM Gerry Gow. He's here.....
LM Tinman. Majestic
ST Cheese. I still have an utter dislike of Shilton.
ST John Galley. A million miles
Anywhere. Bas Savage.
Manager. Fred Ford. A gentleman
Trainer. Buster. T shirt and bucket.
Could probably do with a few subs, but that'll do nicely for now.
