Best hope @42nite doesn't delete his account or OTIB's biggest thread is gone!
Don't worry, the thread will keep going as long as I do.
My prostate cancer seems to be responding well to the radiotherapy I've had, so we'll be good for a while yet.

No need to sack a manager, if you want to get rid the conversation might go something like...
" We think you're doing great....but we're getting Barton in as your advisor......Oh bye then"

Like a student graduating after a couple of 'GAP YEARS' extended their finishing date.
There would be City supporters who were in their mid-40s at the start of the GAP who are now retired and drawing a pension.
How bonkers is that!
Agreed, but (as you know Rob?) those of us...'of a certain age' lived through some difficult times!
So lap it up guys...we suffered for you.

This has been ongoing for years.
They're not going to do anything about it. Just pay lip service.
I hope there's never a serious emergency at the Gate and people can't hear important instructions!

So Chris Martin did a job for us, got older & slower, was moved on then was out of contract at QPR, needs to feed his family and sadly chose to join the blue few to see out the year. He isn’t the first to head across the city and wont he the last. Good to have another agent in there. No hard feelings from me.
But who of our ex-first team would be hardest for us to take if they made the move over to the Horfield campsite? Even if they hadn't played for us for years.
John Galley....He's still in their age range!
Don't do it John.

Good Luck to you and your Bro.................And WTF does "Act your Age" even mean? You would have to be a complete "Cee U Next Tuesday" to make that kind of remark? IMO

Tbh Luton nearly went bust and were non League within the last decade. Got to top flight with a probably midtable budget for this level. Only got promoted back to the League in 2013-14. No wealthy benefactor.
No I don't think it is a model we should follow but the laughter is a bit rich tbh. They have every opportunity to come back down stronger.
Yep, parachute payments for 3 years isn't it?
Much more than we'll have.
And the likelihood of us going up this year........

Pretty sure he was an apprentice at Brecknell DOLMAN & Rogers.
Used to see him every week at the old Technical College behind the Council House.
It was a bit like a whispered nudge nudge type thing...Look there's Peter Spiring over there!
He always looke very fit. Mind, that's not saying much compared to the rest of us who saw the day college release as a bit of a day off.
If it wasn't Peter Spiring.... we were getting a bit starstruck over someone else!
