morning slot from 06:00am till 10:00 monday to Friday,

congrats to Joe Sims, you deserve it for your dedication to Bristol City

Why has his dedication to BC got anything to do with him being awarded the daily breakfast show, which probably won't be sport themed.... for obvious reasons?

    (Honest question)

I love that... maybe its my age, but its got that 90s brit pop vibe...

Question is, can a 43 year old wear a football shirt?? Maybe not can... should.

    Go for it mate!  ?

Down here in Cornwall this summer I've seen all sorts of shirts in all sorts of sizes and ages!

Fortunately no jesters, unfortunately no City.

The only shirts I let a little snigger out when walking past is Leeds for some reason!  ?

  3. Just a random flashback for me regarding Harry..... I was an apprentice at Strachan & Henshaw. When we went to day release college next to the Pineapple once a week, the Brecknal Dolman & Rogers were apprentices were getting paid more than us!

    I was on £3 14s and 6d per week.

    As you were.  ?

Just got in after watching the new Bolan/T.Rex film.

I really like the away kit , I love the round 'City' as I said I painted that on my haversack at school.  I might have been tempted to buy one if they weren't already sold out , apart from XL. I still think £50 is too much though.

Do they still use haversacks at school then?

No facilty to cater for disabled away supporters at the tinpot dump - Wigan aint happy.

TBF some of the tinpot supporters are calling the club out about it.

    Disgraceful imo.

    Wigan SLO;

I've spoken to Bristol Rovers today, they are working hard to find a solution. Options are limited but they will try their best to cater for disabled and those who want seats. IF there is a way, they will let us know in the next 7 days. I will keep you informed as info comes in.

Come, come Mr T - that Marjorie must have been a tad naive - any self-respecting student of Bristol football would know that your lot played away at Liverpool twice in 1957 - and you lost both, 4-1 and 2-0, can’t believe you fibbed to her - how do you sleep at night?! ???

Maybe it wasn't that kind of point he was referring to?  ?

If Bert would have said his delightful secretaries name was Irene....that may have changed my perceptions a little!

In all honesty everyone's been talking about JCH for weeks and I've been telling people no chance. I made sure I had virtually 0 hopes up until Darragh's tweet and even then I was almost certain it'd be a Championship club. But the Dan Hargreaves tweet saying the deal had been agreed, have to say that would sting! But JCH or no JCH I think we've had a good window, the only issue is we'd have let go of a striker when we needed one, before today I was expecting a loan striker from god knows where (I actually thought it might be Mason Burstow from Chelsea, but he's gone to Sunderland. Sometimes I really don't get the levels certain clubs will loan to, Tristan Crama our CB for instance apparently got some loan offers rejected from Ligue 1 and now he's in League 1, doesn't make sense to me, same with Elliott Anderson going to us when we were in League 2. Perhaps destination is more important than competitive level when clubs are looking for loans sometimes). I think there's still some free-agent strikers; like Lyle Taylor and Connor Wickham, but of course they're a huge step down from JCH

    Boring!
