  1. Need to come of the pitch feeling positive, so a draw far better than another defeat.
  2. Ive long thought that in many ways that week was the turning point in the season. I think the Saturday before we'd drawn at Rotherham, coming from behind and then in the last minute had a shot hit the post, but stay out. At Wednesday Tomlin's penalty would have put us 3-1 up, and back then that would probably have sealed the win, but he hit the post and it stayed out. The following Saturday, again in the last minute Tomlin hit the bar, and again it stayed out and we drew 1-1. in another season those three shots would have gone in off the woodwork, we'd have come away with 8 more points and would probably have maintained our momentum, even though we weren't playing brilliantly at the time. I know it's ifs and buts, but on such small margins success and failure often hinge. I know it doesn't excuse some of LJ's selections and tactical decisions, but I don't think we've benefitted from much luck over the past few months, other than being lucky we weren't stuffed on a few occasions!
  3. My sons skyped us during the first half so couldn't follow this thread but saw 39 new posts on the MDT, so expected the worst. On opening up the thread I see we are drawing 0-0. OK might not be playing brilliantly, and might not have been posing a goal threat. However, we are not losing and it looks like Lj has made a couple of positive changes at half time. I wonder what some fans expect. WE have been on an appalling run and the most important thing right night is to get a positive result ( win or draw) Of course we would all want the team playing great attacking football, but I can easily imagine the reaction on here if we had come out, all guns blazing with umpteen shots on goal but come in one or two behind!
  4. They are lacking pace in their side. Could be a slow affair this afternoon then.
  5. Hands up everyone who was happy to be sat on the bench in their playing days. That's no one then!
  6. Players did for Mourinho at Chelsea last season EMB - nothing he could do about it. If they can do it for a manager as good as him, then they can certainly do it for our Lee.
  7. It's pretty obvious that he didn't the new bike, lego and transformers he really wanted, but did get a new jumper, socks, trigonometry set , selection box and some sugar mice.
  8. Don't know about windows being open, Im more worried about the trap door.
  9. Only 7 replies this time! We seem unable to convert our pressure into goals, while allowing the opposition to convert no pressure into goals all to easily.
