Unfortunately we are losing confidence by conceding goals early in games. This puts more pressure on us getting goals at the other end and it becomes a vicious circle. Once again our inability to get going from the start of a game will be our undoing I fear.

Think there must be some sort of issue over preparation or mental approach as we just don't seem to get going in the first half of any game. Perhaps they need to change into dirty kit before kick off so they think they have already played 45 minutes so we might start the game like we play most second halves.

No you're not. It's a Sod's Law game. How many times in the past have we been on the end of a new manager bounce for the opposition? It's Warnock's first in charge so you can bet he will have them fired up and that he will get their crowd up for this one ( as if they need much help in that respect!) A Cardiff goal early on and we could have a backs to the wall excercise to hold on. We need to be on it from the start I reckon, but if we can subdue them for 15-20 minutes then it could gooier way.

LJ is quite clever. He sends his team out expecting us to be behind at half time. That way he can make substitutions to change the game second half, making him look a tactical genius. It's a very cunning plan.

Quite right Major. That they became household names is down to Clough making a group of mainly journeymen into an all conquering team. Doubt we will the like again.
