Has Warnock taken over as Welsh coach?
-
Just got back in.
Question for Mods. Why have you removed a large majority of this thread - the bit where Fulham got there other 3 goals?
Thanks,.

Little sympathy for supreme rich players suckered into McIndoe's s heme.
Lots of sympathy for lower league players and family members who were not super rich but conned into parting with money they could probably not afford to lose.

Just got online in rainy Florence trying to catch up so wondered how young Wed is doing and whether he'managed to find the back of the net? Also, how's Freeman doing, because he seems to miss gilt edged chances far too often for my liking?
I'm only asking cause a quick read through the match day thread doesn't seem to cover these points!

Purely a planning designation.
Northampton was one of the Viking Burghs of England and a major town since Saxon times. Peterborough was also largeish.
Other towns founded or expanded dramatically in the post-war period are not designated new towns: Yate, Swindon and Andover for example.
Before being developed as a new town I think Peterborough was smallish, rather than largeish. It was also rubbish.

Good job, as usual, Havanatopia,
What other football forum offers a preview of the club's game, an overview of the opponents town and large dollop of social history - not forgetting Tone's concise summary?

Seeing Bolton's plight and mindful if our situation back in 82 I do not begrudge any club the chance to gain financial stability and to become more competitive, even it us Rovers.
For all the criticism he gets you have to ask where would we be if not for SL' financial backing?
It is good to know that this move should ensure the continued existence if our neighbours and it's the local rivalry that in part defines the two clubs - the ongoing battle to prove which is the biggest/best/most suceesful/has the wealthiest owner.

Its 4 5 1, confirmed on radio Bristol.
We could be playing safe with a 9-1 formation.

West Bromwich
Similar to the Garden of Eden in its beauty. Managed by one of the nicest people in football to whom we must regrettably teach a footballing lesson.
You've been to that Flowery English Composition night school class haven't you Tone?

The Albion are in Bristol. BS3 awaits
All wrapped up on a January night in their blue and white
So soon from the last outing when the City almost, nearly but not quite
A packed house full of optimism, warm hearts and cheer, so don't be late
Tis the F.A Cup, the oldest and most venerable of them all, and in the 4th The Posh are at the Gate.
So don your positive energy and cheer the lads to a memorable victory, well, we might.
Well good evening all. I hope it is not too cold at Ashton Gate this evening. But if it is make sure you have a thermos or a hip flask at the ready, whichever tickles your fancy.
Let us unveil some new signings and put a Pulis side to the sword and if not, go down with dignity well and truly intact.
Could it be a late night? extra time? early start for anyone tomorrow? Does it go to penalties? O'Leary... oh my, what a night. 1-1 after 90 minutes? I will leave the rest to everybody else.
I might just try and get a few winks and then get up real early to see if I can find a rusty, crackling live viewing of the match.
UTC.

Huge psychological boost for City not having to worry about Austin. He has an aura at this level.
The Austin Aura
Would have thought he could afford a Porsche, Aston or a Bentley with his salary.

Excellent as always Havana, especially like the use of "melange" - a first for OTIB?
