That's why Man U stopped wearing black at away games some seasons ago. it was because they said it was difficult for the players to see each other clearly.
They had that with grey kit.
They wore grey at Southampton and were getting battered in the first half and IIRC they came out in different kit for the second half. Post match Fergie said that players Found it difficult to pick out teammates because of the colour.

Listened to Talksport briefly today and they were discussing that Torquay have gone into administration.
The journalist they had on was talking about their owner, and he ( the journalist) commented that what fans want from an owner is that they leave the club in a better situation than it was when they took it on.
Given all the negativity surrounding SL and recent events, allied to many fans apparently wanting SL to sell the club and make way for a new owner it got me thinking.
If SL sold up tomorrow do you think that he would be leaving the club in a better situation than when he became the owner?

Negativity and pessimism.
We're Bristolians, they are in our DNA!

Will take many years to get it to court no?

Hope it gets upheld or near as dammit to the 10 and then they get a 2nd deduction this season.

They are (believe it or not) a thoroughly normal and down to earth bunch, but when it comes to finances, I'd like to strangle each and every one of them til they're blue and sputtering. My family are Everton fans on my Mum's side and are embracing the victimhood complex wholeheartedly. It's like they don't even realise there's a world outside the Premier League.
EDIT: I'll post my balls on OTIB if the deduction gets rescinded.
Much as we saw with Derby's situation, fans of clubs affected by sanctions for ffp/p&s breaches seem to think that they have a case based solely on "being hard done by", "it's not fair", "the impact on the club - relegation, risk of admin or worse" and of course " whataboutery".
What those fans fail to understand is that had their clubs not broken the financial rules ( cheating - as it enabled them to gain an unfair advantage over other clubs in their division who did adhere to the rules), then it could well have resulted in the very same outcomes they argue that could/will result from ffp/p&s sanctions -certainly true in the case of Everton!

A magnificent cricketer and a match winner
Sadly denied a test career, so who knows where he'd rank among all time greats, but he'd be up there.

We might possibly have a top 6 squad, but we don't seem to have a top 6 mentality.

If he’s got some of Bolt’s “stature” and Paul Daniels’s ability to pull fit birds, then he’s not going to struggle in life
As he's signed for us he's more likely to have Daniels' "stature" and Bolt's ability to pull a rabbits out of the hat!

Stating the obvious, but we simply have to work out how to play hard working sides that set up like QPR have. Nothing about how they have played has been a surprise.
Nothing about how we've played has been a surprise either!

A cross between Usain Bolt and Paul Daniels then.

Given the 70s reminiscences on here it's probably Watneys Ref Barrel?
If so I doubt you'd want a pint of it!

We’re a counter attacking team. The second half is going to be painful
The more so as QPR now have no real incentive to go forward.
Reminds of Brum at home when we started to hit long balls in desperation and got caught on the break again.

Way too slow, allowing QPR to get everything behind the ball and then break quickly.
Same as Brum at home

Frustrating and really piss poor defending.
Total different game to Southampton, QPR sitting back in numbers and countering, Southampton were far more open and ultimately we've struggled to break them down.
We don't deserve to be behind but that's what happens when you struggle to create against a team that will sit back and soak up the pressure well.Teams will know that we struggle against teams that sit back, so do to us what we like to do

Not sure about that as I’d have taken 6/9 points from Boro, Southampton and QPR - todays points are extras
6 from 6 against 'Boro and Saints was the bonus. Maximising points from games against the likes of QPR and Wednesday is where we've blown it too often in the past and make the difference between mid-table and genuinely challenging for a top 6 spot.

"10 points was clearly excessive, vindictive, inconsistent". Try telling that to the clubs that were relegated but kept their financial house in order by complying with the same set of financial rules that Everton knowingly breached. I remain convinced that Everton chose to breach P&S to give them the best chance of avoiding relegation because the knock on of dropping into the championship with the debt on their new stadium would probably have bankrupted the club. Now it's all about how hard done by they are, poor supporters, everyone's out to get them.
Everton fans and board....
The only glimmer of hope I can see in the Everton situation is that the PL have reduced this penalty in the knowledge that there's another hit coming right down the line!
Fingers crossed!
