  1. Well, that’s the reason for the question, it’s all adults, participating with their own equipment, so I wouldn’t have thought the many organisers of small competitions all over the country would be liable, but it would be good to know for sure. I’ve tried looking on the web, but all that points to is companies that will sell insurance, but I’m not likely to pay for insurance (nor are many other organisers) as we get nothing from organising the competitions (apart from being able to take part paying the same entry as the others).
  2. It is, but not for clubs, I was wondering the potential liability for open competitions organised by an individual on a commercial venue that has its own liability insurance.
  3. I have a.question regarding liability insurance for organising small competitions. Happy to expand by PM if anyone can help.
  4. It’s not just millionaires…… plenty of people with far lower incomes employ accountants to minimise their tax bills.
  5. Great tribute show on R5 at the moment with Nicky Campbell. Shame the only time I saw him live was at AG when he wasn’t at his best, but what a performer over the years.
  6. Not sure why Moyes would want to leave West Ham?
  7. I’m a little shocked you took it seriously.
  8. She probably would beat me, but I haven’t thrown a dart for 30 years or more, no idea, nor do I care what she earns, good luck to her.
  9. back in the kitchen then......
  10. I've raised this point here several times, I know that won't change it, maybe it needs more action, if all the clubs took a combined action, maybe they'd get somewhere? The Championship has become pretty meaningless for me, I am struggling to maintain interest in such a 'fixed' competition.
  11. What a come back from Wright, he just doesn’t seem to feel pressure
  12. Starting to piss me off now, no respect when Wright is throwing.
  13. I can’t recall seeing that many darts to finish a leg before in a final.
  14. I think most reasonable people would accept you postpone a final, but not earlier rounds, and yes, I’d suspect that everything that could be done to get the game on, will be.
  15. Barry Hearn has said if that happens the final will be postponed and played when they are clear.
  16. Been some great games this year, hope the final carries on in the same vein….
  17. Miss Dave Clark, he’s a hard act to follow.
  18. Wright’s experience got him over the line, he’s steady now, doesn’t panic and if he has an off leg, he doesn’t let it throw him, that sets the top players aside.
  19. Don’t like this booing when Wright is throwing
  20. Making Wright look like a pub player…… even though Wright has a 100 average so far.
