The first part of your second sentence/paragraph looks about right but are we party to knowing about the second part or are you just guessing?

In fairness, whether somewhere is a dump or not isn't entirely about price.

Look at the dumps in London.

Taking the club bias away from it, the area in the immediate vicinity of the stadium (at least some of it) is really quite unpleasant.

Where is that?  I would suggest that much of the immediate area is quite desirable.

Dont get me wrong, I didnt or ever felt like it was a dig towards me, its like war you see, its written by the victors, sure you'd see some accounts by some surviving losers of war, but it isnt what most people actively look to see. So it gets more buried over those who won.

Ask around, amongst some of those us who lived through it, in South Bristol we had colllections every Thursday in the local pubs (that was pay day when most were weekly paid), we had loads of fund raising going on, we were absolutely resolute that we would save our club, but, that said, it got to a position that looked bad, very bad.  We survived, but those of us who went through it will never, ever forget the glee, vitriol, piss taking and trying to make good from our misfortune that many, so many of the sags took part in.

    Never forget!!

    an average bi-stander

Not sure that the fact someone swings both ways comes into it, please refrain from sexual repression on here.

I’d like to feel that heterosexual, gay, gender neutral and bisexual bystanders can enjoy the sags apparent impending demise.

Yes I know, I have done it a few times myself and it's a heartbreaking journey even from here, I imagine it's what it must have been like getting to Cardiff or Swansea before the bridges were built.
