West Ham Replay: Sold Out 🎟️/Live on BBC 📺
richwwtk replied to Silvio Dante's topic in Football Chat
Yep, they were supposed to go on sale at 10am iirc, got down there at 6am with my mate and the queue was from the Williams ticket office, onto Ashton Road and way back past the Dolman entrance. They were selling 4 tickets per person so people were buying them, going to the back of the queue and offering them for double face value, that's how we managed to get tickets in the end. -

That date isn't set in stone. I would think it's likely this match is chosen for TV somewhere, so might be played Monday or Wednesday yet! There will be uproar on here if the date is moved. -
1.1 million would seem a fair allocation

All I would say is be very careful checking the car over on pickup and take pictures of anything wrong. Miss the smallest scratch or dent and you just know you will be charged for it on return
-
Thank you for that, stops wildly innacurate rumours getting out of hand. Over 20% still feels like an awful lot though.

I agree that the FA Cup is not as important as it it used to be. In my mind it is entirely the fault of the Chamions League. When only the League winners qualified for the European Cup it meant that winning the FA cup was an important route into European Football so that the prestige and glamour of the competition was preserved. As soon as 4th place in the league became more important the top teams stopped taking the Cup seriously which severly undermined the competition in the eyes of the public. Unfortunately I see no way back for the prestige of the competition now as too much damage has been done. I should also point out that, in the season of the League Cup run, results didn't really turn against us until we had been knocked out so if anything the opposite to what you describe is true.

I saw 6K mentioned earlier, and we have about 15K ST holders normally, so 40% was just my rough guess
-
If it's true that 40% of our ST holders opted for a physical card rather than digital then the reason is fairly clear and certainly not the fault of Bristol City or West Ham.

Fair play to Littler winning that 2nd set, looked like he might fall apart for a short while

Preston away was his answer when asked the other week while he was doing a signing session in the SS pre-match

How are Reading so ******* awful? They were Championship contenders not so long ago... -
I think so but not 100% sure, but if you're there then you are a one minute walk from where the buses all start and stop these days (what used to be Alexandra Parade) outside Tescos The X1 also picks up at all the stops from there down Locking Road to the motorway junction

Spent many hours as a kid playing the original Football Manager on the Spectrum, loved it! The Original writer of the game re-released it as an 'exact copy' for Android phones a couple of years ago. Got very excited about playing it again and it was rubbish

X1 from Weston to Bristol stops at AG. Takes just under an hour, runs every 15 minutes

I'm not convinced @Red_Alligator was being sarcastic as you seem to think, it sounded to me like he was thanking you for an interesting bit of football trivia.
-
Would be interesting to hear if anyone actually gets caught out by this
-
From the way he speaks, pretty sure Alistair Campbell is a real football fan as well, so would have known what a daft idea it was.
-
I guess it didn't work out for Reuben in Scotland so they are heading back south?

all Sky live games to kick off at 12:30pm on saturdays
richwwtk replied to Never to the dark side's topic in Football Chat
It mentions in the article that this deal will replace iFollow for domestic customers. Does this mean Robins TV will only be available abroad? Or is every match not available anyway? I don't tend to use it so not really sure what matches are on and which aren't. -

4 out of 13 matches being shown every week means we will be affected more than twice I would have thought!
