404 people out of 18k users.

    404 out of a fanbase of 40-50k.

    Like I said, small minority.

And 11 months in football is a long time

I admit I was one who wanted change but since the Semenyo sale and then Scott with hardly any money given for transfers on top of wage cutting I changed my mind.

This season I could see what Pearson was working with. I wanted him to stay.

With a bit of cash, I firmly believe we'd have been challenging

Not sure what it is about that joe sims I’m sure he’s a nice bloke but for me he tries too hard to be “Bristolian”

Would rather have someone similar to the down to earth working class Bristolian who Radio Bristol use on their traffic updates on Saturdays?

    Talk about embarrassing

  3. I dont care who they get in. I want them out.

Years ago I shouted down this Bristol Sport thing, the dilution of the Football Club and a rebuilt stadium that is no longer a football ground for Bristol City FC.

And now add the ridiculous sacking of a Manager, who we all started to understand how and what he could work with.

It's all been a Lansdown Legacy and I have nothing to be grateful for. His debt, his stadium and I don't get to watch my team for free.

    Get them OUT!!

If you follow Thorpe on twitter he comes across as someone who looks back favourably of his time here and still thinks highly of the club. I don’t think he would say anything deliberately without considering the value it adds.

Tony is often at Ashton Gate watching a match. He sits in the block where former players sit.

Not in my view. It'll be 'Pearson laid the foundations, and should have got the chance to see it out'. Especially when you consider what he's done to get us in the position we are now.

Nor mine. Even if the new Bloke is a success, I'd still have a bitter taste in my mouth, the way the Lansdowns have treated Pearson.

  6. Having a listen now.

So an opportunity for the Lansdown's to go on the show and explain their reasons, and they decline.

No doubt they've got wind of the fans reaction so it's either a) they are gutless or b) couldn't give a flying fk about the Supporters.

I'll put my money on the latter and if there wasn't reasons for wanting the owner to sell up before there certainly is now.

Bristol sport that organisation that's done Bristol city FC a world of good!! The start of Lansdowns reign it seemed pretty Rosey the days he came on the pitch talked us fans it all seemed that the football club was moving forward,But things started to change it wasnt just the football club in his thoughts the club he so called loved and supported it was to add other clubs into a organisation to move Bristol rugby into Ashton gate to own the flyers and now Bristol city women into Bristol sport. Yes the ground was rebuilt but not just for the football club it was to be used for events ie concerts etc etc Bristol rugby's new home. The training ground which I feel is the only decent investment he's done for our football club, If all his investment was a sole project of Bristol city football club the ground still owned by the club concerts and other events bringing in a financial income.what I'm trying to say is it feels we've had our club and ground taken away that feel good factor of supporting a club but not an organisation a rich man's play toy.  Just remember we came close all those years ago under Gary johnson but the football club had its own heart beat Ashton gate had a pulse we nearly achieved that premierleague spot. Now the football club under this Bristol sport umbrella feels flat as ever and worse off for it. Has Lansdown really benefited our football club!!

Said the very thing years ago. On the whole, got lambasted for it.

It's not a "told you so", just a nice to see people are getting wise to the fact.

As a fair few of us said in August! It’s all been saved for the next guy.

There’s also an incredibly 2 faced ‘club legend’ that has more than a little blood on his hands in this absolute shit show

Think I know who you are talking about.

If it is, he allegedly was the reason why Danny Wilson left.

I'm one of those people who finds it quite awkward to be outright dismissive of SL given the investment he has made in the club

Well think of it this way. A lot of the debt was mismanagement ie Ashton.

As for investment. Are you talking about the stadium we get to use? The investment is for himself.

As far as im concerned the whole Bristol Sport nonsense has hurt us. Apart from the debts he paid off at the beginning of his ownership, I've nothing to thank him for.

Oh yes!  Clothes pegs to keep it in place.

Mine went one better. My uncle glued it to a board. In use onto the table and when not in use, lent against my bedroom wall.

One bonus, holes for the goal nets to remain firm

Yes Dear. Now go and read the OP again as to the threads subject

Already did. You are telling someone to stump up the money or shut up. Refusing an opinion because of their inability to buy the club. Therefore in future you should shut up when you have nothing to back up your opinion.

Like 99.9% of others on here who comment on the football you mean

The majority of that 99.9% won't ask someone to prove their worth of football knowledge .

Oh no.. think we're heading for a new cringey period of painted bedsheet banners outside Ashton Gate but now with SL.

All after a few flat performances and we've only lost once in the league and its not even September.

It's not cringey whatsoever. Only way to get noticed. What do you expect? Request of an appointment with our glorious owner?

Unfortunately with us it would never work because our fan base has a fair number of apathetic people who are just happy enough to sit back and not give a toss

Surprised to see Flint is on the bench, it’s easy to forget how epic he was for us just a few years ago, but I guess age catches up with everyone eventually.

Wherever he's been since he's left he has struggled. Boro onto Cardiff onto Stoke and on the bench at Wednesday
