Not interested but your posting within a minute of my post! Although being near you is somewhat different than being miles away which could well now happen, in my view Bristol would be an even more boring CIty without the football rivalry.
Christ, it's like talking to a brick wall. I have never said I wasn't interested. Maybe try reading posts before responding eh?

Three similar comments all saying they are not interested in Rovers but you've all taken the time to read this thread today then post on it!
Not a single one of the comments you quoted said we're not interested in the 15ers. We simply said we have absolutely no desire for you to be anywhere near us in the league. Which you're not - so all is good.

I think most genuine Bristolian football fans would sooner a bit of rivalry than one totally dominant club like is now the case in the Potteries.
100% no. I want City to be completely dominant for the foreseeable future. Thankfully, it looks like my wish will be coming true.

Luckily our new owner is going to change that in the near future.
And there, ladies and gentlemen, is the reason for this thread, summed up in one sentence. Not sure they'll ever learn

Every time i look at football chat this thread is always at the top of the page.
I cant believe there's nearly 22,000 replies to this thread, who gives a flying f### about the gas anyway.
Judging by how angry it seems to make you, I'd suggest that you do

I'm not normally in the know, and what I learnt this weekend isn't much but I thought I'd share it anyway. At an event I was chatting to someone that I'd never met before. During the course of the conversation they revealed that they were involved in the governance and management of the UWE. Thinking that this was my big chance to find out what was happening, I asked about the stadium and received the following three sentence answer before we were interrupted; "It's a work in progress, the UWE still want it, they're waiting for the money to come through". I assume that "they" are the club, so perhaps the hold up is the funding as much as, or even rather than the negotiations with the UWE
and we was told he was supper rich
3rd richest club in England

Is there an echo in here?

I saw him too walking along the concourse and went in the offices. He was with another man who made Joe look quite small, another scout or just a mate maybe?
Now I bet you are all going to say it was someone I should have recognised
Well, I did see him with Gordon McQueen, who does fit your description...

"Rovers fans wow what ,***** I thought we had some ***** but they could be the most inbred type I've seen"
But everybody loves the 15ers, right?

I'm feeling very confident about tonight's game.
So we're definitely going to lose...

How does that work. Do I state Bristol rovers in the title?
How does it work? This is a thread dedicated to Bristol Rovers. Therefore it is a Bristol Rovers thread. Simple really.
Anyway, the other thread is staying. It keeps discussion of the 15ers off the rest of the forum (well apart from this one). If you don't want to contribute you could just ignore it. Again, simple really.
-
So now, thanks to you, there's two Bristol Rovers threads near the top of the forum rather than one. Good work.

It's not even a knockout competition any more? Who knew...

Despite only signing up to this forum in December (a full seven months after the creation of this thread), @Philgas has the second highest post count on this entire thread (and closing very quickly on 1st place)...
I think he wants to be one of us.

Then I'm not sure why you would find this thread embarrassing? Simply ignore it, and let the rest of get on with laughing at our near neighbours. Problem solved.
