Zac Clough benched vs the Gas tonight
How the mighty have fallen. He can't even make the team for a game against the 15ers

Apparently he’s being considered for Saturday as has a better goalscoring record than Nichols
Better than one goal in 39 appearances? Surely not?

Cracking defensive effort so far

When I started watching the video I was amazed at how professional it looked (the video I mean, not the stadium, that still looks like it belongs to a Bosnian Fourth Division team), and I was actually quite impressed. But yeah, it turns out that it's produced on the Argyle side. Should have known that instantly to be fair.

Should also be available in the Dolman wings... "seats will only be made available in the South and Dolman Stand wings, and all tickets must be claimed by Friday, September 28th at 5pm."

Amazing what you can find out by actually reading the whole article.
Ah well, got my tickets in the South Stand now!

I noticed when getting my free tickets for the Saints game, the "BCFC Comp" option only showed up when looking at the South Stand. Previously I'd been able to get them for the (obviously more expensive) West Stand. Maybe they've started restricting the free tickets to the same stand the City season ticket is in?

Come on then, own up. Who posted this beauty?

"Bristol council. Are sending out letters asking people .What they think of Bristol life might be a good way of insisting the council ask whoever is developing the arena at filton to incorporate a stadium for us ?"
Wanting something for nothing, again.

Don’t forget that their history spans beyond 1982, in their eyes.
But they've only been members of the Football League since 2015.

Compulsory rugby at school for 5 years and now it's forced it's way onto OTIB.
Rather Bristol won, but not that bothered, and this is a FOOTBALL forum.
Come on @Dollymarie/ @El Hombrecito, move to non footy please.
In fairness, it is a discussion about Bristol Rugby Football Club*...
But yes, it should probably be moved.
*Okay, Bristol Bears, but you get the point.

Over 25,000 sold now with just 1000 tickets left on sale.

Over 24,000 sold now. Could be a sell out.

They've got a consolation goal back.
Correction. QPR felt sorry for them and scored on their behalf.

It's not like Matt Smith is the biggest, most experienced player, and best header on the pitch or anything...

Rollin Menayese? Never heard of him
I remember the days I could name half the 15ers team. They really are ragass these days aren't they.

They couldn't even win at being average (go to question 2)
“Can any team to be more average than Bristol Rovers?” asked Gerry Prewett. “After the end of last season, the Gas had played a total of 4,030 league games from the time they joined the league in 1920 (including one Conference season). The stats are: W1,495 D 1,037 L 1,498 GF 5,767 GA 5,760.”
“As average as Bristol Rovers are, they are by my count only the second most average team in the English leagues (considering only those clubs with 1,000-plus games played in the Football League and Conference),” writes James Clarke, who we will now let take over the floor. “Rotherham United just about beat them out on a marginal decision. Since forming in 1925 Rotherham’s league record is:
P 3,802 W1,426 D948 L1,428 F5,589 A5,581“Rotherham have more games played than Bristol Rovers, and I’d also rank win/loss balance as being more important than goals for/against balance in a tie breaker situation. West Ham get the bronze, losing out on goal difference:
P 3,802 W1,425 D 950 L1,427 F5,611 A5,599
“Those three clubs are well clear of the rest of the pack when it comes to being generally average. But Colchester are worthy of a shout as well for having a perfect 1:1 win loss ratio: Won 1,135, Drawn 838, Lost 1,135. But they are well off the pace on their overall goal difference: For 4,354, Against 4,412. I did a graph of the most average average clubs to help me work this out. The closer they are to the bottom left corner, the more average they are.

Bet the sponsor loves having their logo so small that you have to squint to see who it actually is.

Utterly hilarious, pure delusion
"What you have overlooked is the capacity seems to be limiting the potential gates, as if we were playing in a stadium with a 18/22,000 capacity our average home gates would probably be pushing 15,000 at the start of this season. For a club of our size/potential we have clearly outgrown the Mem to suggest otherwise is simply nonsense and contradicts what the previous and present owners have suggested."
Then surely they'd be selling out every week currently? #gaslogic
