  1. Had a look at my half time notes, it simply reads "bugger"
  2. Yeah, I normally use it for all the mid-week games and have never had a problem with it but just wondered if it was the stream or the source that was shot.
  3. I know the linked stream is buffering like hell but I'd feel sorry for anyone who's shelled out for Robins TV if the actual broadcast is doing that as well.
  4. Oh no, Barton's no longer talking to the Post. How will Saggy fans get their fix of his wisdom now? If only he offered some sort of subscription service on his Twitter they could sign up to for exclusive content. That would fill the void from his lack of communication in the local press wouldn't it? Wait a minute.......
  5. They're still hoping the value of the land the Mem sits on is enough to pay for the construction of a new stadium at the Fruit Market. This also overlooks the fact that the stadium is designated a asset of community value which means that Wally can't just offer it up as a swap deal for a few bricks in new stadium.
  6. This bit about their new South Tent seems bizarre: "We're hostage to events that are out of control in terms of just getting approvals or contractors and timelines. You can plan all you want to get what you want done in a month or two but in reality when you come to execute, things get delayed." We know they made a total pigs ear out of getting the planning permission but do we read from this that their contractor has told them to piss off due to the construction delay so they're now looking for someone to hammer the pegs in whenever the council finally get around to giving them permission to pitch it?
  7. From the BBC website following Hibs defeat to Motherwell today. It doesn't sound like a Lee Johnson side at all does it? "But defeat means they have lost their opening two league games and re-affirmed their reputation as a team that struggles to put consistent performances together."
  8. Looking forward to a post match report.
  9. That pre game interview was wonderful. They are so often cliche after cliche and "yeah but not but" but he gave a real insight into how he's settling in at the club, how he wants to play and how he's working with Zak to develop the CB partnership.
  10. Only caught the second half but City looked really good on the ball, passing and moving well. We may haae lacked a little quality in the box but Milwall looked like they were defending in depth. Matty James took that goal brilliantly to bring home the points. I wasn't expecting us to get too much from the Den so to come away with a win is brilliant. Watching the lads at the final whistle definately shows there is a real team spirit there. Plenty to build on and move forward with now. COYR.
  11. I wish Alex Scott every success and I really hope Bournemouth is a stepping stone to an even bigger move. Unlike several other players in recent City history, he kept his head down among all of the speculation, worked hard and kept going. He's definately been a role model for the next crop of young players in the squad and has shown the pathway and the club plan is now back on track. Yes, it's painful to think that Bournemouth are now a bigger club than us but for now it's true. They took their opportunities when they came while we know where we made our mistakes. I'm certain that the good times are coming and a £25 million pound cheque in the bank is certainly going to help. Good luck Alex. I'll look forward to watching you on Match of the Day.
  12. Definitely a game to quickly move on from. England have a lot of rethinking to do between now and Saturday.
  13. In the huddles there, England didn't look mentally strong. I couldn't see a win in their eyes. We need to try and boss this now. Frustrate Nigeria and play possession football.
  14. Given that Nigeria have controlled the space all over the pitch, breaking them down with 11 was proving too difficult for England. Now we're a player down, Nigeria will have even more control.
  15. What in the heck was she thinking? So stupid. Red all day.
  16. There's no denying we're second best all over the park so far. They made an interesting point in the discussion at half time thst the European national sides have spent too much time playing each other and have struggled when playing sides from other confederations. I think a lot of teams including England have massively underestimated how the game has improved globally.
  17. Point on the board. Footy is back. Sounds like it wasn't a great game from the infrequent reports on Radio 5.
  18. Sam Parkin and Michael Appleton have just been saying some great things about Nige and our club. Very good couple of minutes focusing on our potential and Nige's Athletic interview on Radio 5.
  19. 5-Live reporter has just described the first 5 minutes at the Gate as looking like two teams trying to remember how to play the game. ?
  20. Without the South and South East tents and no replacement yet to be constructed I think they must have dipped under the minimum ground requirements. The mandate for any club entering the league is after 3 years (2018 for them) the ground must have a minimum capacity of 5000 with a minimum seated capacity of 2000. The west and east stands have 750 and 1100 respectively and I think they took down those bus shelter tents they built over the terracing.
  21. My friend Mr G. A. Scunthorpe was hoping to go but they seem to be fully booked.
  22. The other problem they have if they don't have the stand ready for their first home game is that they aren't generating the revenue to pay down the loan. Every week that goes on is an amount of cash wasted. Not only have they got to increase their average attendance just to pay down the loan, they are currently at a capacity of less than last season so they will be generating even less revenue than before.
  23. Deepest condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace fellow red.
