Fair play to them, will need an upgrade on all three next season though
Not sure what's happened with Towler, played 20 times last season after signing in January but has only made 5 appearances in the League this season.
Would imagine he's off on loan or sold in the summer.

Fans in ‘mid-league’ know all about promotion races in this division as most of us have been there before. We were top of the Championship going into April in 2008 with 5 games to go. Only picked up another 4 points, including losing a crunch clash away to Stoke and missed out. It’s not a foreign concept to us.
Feels like a lifetime ago, that I've really forgotten our poor run in that year. Only 13 points from the last 12 games. Oh what could have been!

Any chance JKL might get a few minutes Wednesday night, now that safety is all but guaranteed and Dickie likely to be absent again?
I note he's only made 2 sub appearances this season, and remained on the bench 36 times! Give him a few runs outs before the season ends.

Give Matty James another 2 year deal which someone of his age and experience would demand and expect. He might not play every minute of every game, but he's class and experience is invaluable for the team.
I feel like City run the risk of losing him, should they prehaps only offer him a 1 year deal, and sure MJ could easily get offers of 2 years elsewhere. Maybe even Derby to replace Bird.

Doing a great job. Those 29 days with Troy Deeney at the helm could prove to be the final difference come the end of the season. But I do hope FGR stay up.

Agree, although he did score in the FA Cup with a deflected free kick past…..Frank Fielding, who brought down Diedhiou for a pen in the same game. I’m not sure we can count it!
Yes thought Wells had scored one for us. This was in January 2021.
Jamie Paterson scored 3 for us, vaguely recall the Derby one whereby it was the first time goal line technology was used for us: https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/paterson-makes-history-at-ashton-gate/

Just seen this, good news as Crooks normally scores against us!

Exactly this. The ability to turn on resale for fans that can't attend a fixture is there. But there needs to be consistent demand for it. If we ever get to the PL, it'll be turned on, as games will sell out far in advance. At the moment, games aren't selling out far enough in advance, or consistently enough, to warrant turning this on.
Agreed. IF City ever did reach the PL, would they ever consider Brentford's new ticketing approach?
I wonder how this is working out for Brentford in practice? Obviously their capacity is a lot smaller than City's, but interested to find out if it's working successfully for them.

That also happened with the rugby last Saturday
Yeah saw a few empty seats on the Bears v Bath match highlights. But I guess they don't have the segregation lost in the Atyeo.

Now officially sold out. Wonder if spares will pop up around the ground every so often before Friday like the Cup games recently.

He went in goal in one match, didn’t he?
Yeah I vaguely recall he did too. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/8593792.stm

Lithuanian - Andrius Velička.
Then there was Stefan Maierhofer on loan from Wolves. Played 3 games for us and up there for poor loan signings!

Friday's nights with a young family suits me to the ground. But at the same token, Saturday 3pms are normally a perfect opportunity to escape!

Why are Pring and TGH out?
Suspended for picking up their 2nd yellow so far in the FA Cup.

I do wonder how much of that is due to the fact that the O’Neills supply is so poor, or in some cases so poorly sold I.e the awful vests and coaches wear, that they have to put out Bears stuff so that the shop isn’t basically half empty.

I recall this interesting feature they've recently put out (worth a watch to be fair), right at the end of this first part they mention how the club shop stock is adjusted according to City/Bears playing. Rarely go into the shop these days, but wonder how accurate this statement actually is.

Two FA Cup bookings for Pring so that’s him out for the replay?
Ah, bugger, that's a shame. However, with all the games to come in quick succession, maybe a rest will be a good thing for CP. Was superb tonight.
TGH also second booking in the FA Cup. Knight to sit back with maybe Sykes back or Bell more advanced on the right?

24 tickets now available online.

Away fans placed in the Dolman, especially in this health and safety day and age, must be a non-starter? There is restricted access at the rear so no room for additional turnstiles that would surely be required for the 3k odd home Dolman fans left (even with the South stand turnstiles)?
Hopefully a bigger Atyeo stand in the future is the answer to get home fans behind both ends.

Interesting. Looked great in their FA Cup run. I'd thought City would try to get a League 1 or League 2 loan for the rest of the season though?
-
Rather Forest too, considering we only played Blackpool last season. Forest should bring 2k+ too (if not more), whereas Blackpool would struggle to sell half that. Hopefully Forest will make a few changes, with survival their main aim this year.

Wagner will be desperate to win tonight to set up the clash with his mate Klopp next week.

Offer him a 1 year deal so when we are promoted next year he can then leave because we can’t have him in The prem with VAR!!!
Though...based on recent performances and if (!) he stays fit, he is worthy of at least a 2 year deal at a minimum Championship level club. Maybe back at Bolton (if they go up) or a Millwall/Preston/Blackburn type club.
City run the risk of losing Williams IMO if we only offer a 1 year deal.

I would have said something in the 20s/30s and then probably take 10 (King) at the end of the season but isn't 7 available? If so then that!
He's no. 30 at Hull but Nelson has that
No. 14 when AW goes?

Arthur Okonkwo, impressed at Wrexham on loan from Arsenal, said to be released this summer?
