Attendance will be over 20k as it usually is and this is a game that you would hope and expect City to win.
I'm sure you are aware this is at Deepdale this weekend. Their last home crowd was almost 20k but that included 5k Sheffield Wednesday fans!

Just the 16,669 in attendance that day. Good rare goal by Skuse. In the defence that night included Foster and McGivern, remarkable we stayed up that year. Chris Wood and Stead up front who scored a few crucial goals to ultimately keep us up (Barnsley 2-0 win a few days later did the trick).

Hilarious isn't it? Hardly a mention of the opposition's proven, international, keeper being slow off his line but our keeper gets criticised by the goalkeeping experts on here
Agreed. If Fabianski, Zouma, Ogbonna start in the replay, we will give them another bloody good game, that's for sure.

Very sorry to hear this news. RIP to a fellow red.
My brother-in-law tragically also died aged 31 a month ago so certainly feel your pain at this sad time.

A lot of non-league have installed 4g to get round this and also use it as a 7 day income source - Longwell Green are a good example.
I wonder at what point in the pyramid you have to have grass pitches.
League 2. Recall Sutton and Harrogate in recent seasons had to change their pitches at great expense: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/57336301

Must be a great view from the corner of the away terrace too...

So what’s it used for now?
Isn't it an office for the stewards?

Love him, what a player! Bournemouth scouts will be watching, nest egg is at the ready….
Thinking someone like Leicester when they go up, perfect Vardy replacement.

Never done it myself, but I'd park on Weston Road, by the houses. Short walk around the corner to the HPC.

Does anyone know why QPRv Norwich wasn't played this week ?
From the QPR site: "The club would like to thank the EFL and Norwich City for accommodating our request for the tie to be played a week later than all other first round matches.
This request was made in order to provide additional time for our pitch to settle following extensive works during the close season."

Seems a classy player, decent going forward and defensively. On first value, happy he's an upgrade on Jay Dasilva. Pring will certainly have to play well to keep his position in the side.

Only 41 tickets left now? Despite the low Preston turnout and many will be on holiday, still hoping for a good atmosphere to start the season off

Dragging their name further through the mud, women beaters, sexist pigs, conspiracy theories, promoting his own ‘business’ whilst ‘committed’ Gas manager, sending their wage bill sky high, signing players with 0 resale value, all whilst keeping Rovers in the bottom 3rd of the league, please don’t sack him!
Contracted until 2026 I was shocked to just find out! Looking forward to the winter where Rovers are in the bottom half, yet again, will their fans turn on JB and pressure the owner for JB's head?! How loyal will they be after yet another underwhelming season...

Honorable mention for Jamie McAllister? Pretty solid throughout.

Day I will never forget. I was very fortunate to win OTIB's prediction league so my prize was myself and my Dad being invited as Steve Lansdown's guest in the Director's box. As a then 17/18-year-old, this was quite a surreal experience. I cannot speak highly how lovely Maggie Lansdown and Marina Dolman were to us both. When the players went to the Director's area after the game, with the huge sea of fans on the pitch, I was directly behind them and right amongst the celebrations. I will never forget those special moments, but at the same time it was a bit of a blur!
Remember briefly speaking to Gary Johnson after the game and suggested we sign Chris Iwelumo from Colchester who was in superb form at the time. Sadly he went to Charlton, but later briefly joined City on a short term loan in 2010.

Big fan of the pitch normally, but Dolman side of the pitch is really poor today (compared to normal high standards). Bet groundsmen can't wait for the season's end. Fingers crossed for no new injuries today.

Just wondering about their new stadium which seems to be taking forever? https://www.punchline-gloucester.com/articles/aanews/forest-green-rovers-latest-on-eco-park-planning-bid
Can't imagine if they ever will be in a position to increase the 5k capacity.
Steve Cotterill to FGR would be a good move, but they are a sinking ship at the moment!
