  1. Wowzers... halfway down page two! Back you go...

On a different note, our old mate Jake put his video on YouTube yesterday. Can't do his end of season highlights for the gas because his software has gone kaput. But he has already started on this season's highlights and he says it's looking good already!

One game Jake lad and JJOT put it past your lot. Not much to highlight...

  2. She's still busy come Monday...

    COURT 16

    Before MRS JUSTICE PROUDMAN

    Monday, 29 June 2015

    At 10 o'clock

    REDUCTION OF CAPITAL

975/2015 In the Matter of TI Fluid Systems Ltd

So unless she announces judgement on Tuesday 30th, it looks like the whole 'it has to be settled by June' argument has gone down the pan...

    FOR JUDGMENT

    INTERIM HEARINGS LIST

HC-2014-001585 Philips Pension Trustees Ltd & anr v Aon Hewitt Ltd & anr

There is someone on here that works in/near Fleet Street and came to the Court during the hearing.

Is it possible to go to Court on Monday and ask Mrs Justice Proundman's clerk, the person who sits in front of her, if a decision is likely to be forthcoming before the end of the month?

There is no harm in asking, if I was still in the area I would be happy to ask.

But Mummy said, "not now little Nick you be a good boy and take teddy up to bed and sleep tight because Santa is on his way and when you wake up in the morning there will be a dirty great pile of soot in the front room and someone will have stolen all your presents".

Got me all of a flutter then Bert.. This says its for judgment so is this a previous case before Sainsburys v Gas?

  4. She's really not taking her time. This link http://www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWHC/Ch/2015/ is a database of the Court's judgments during 2015 (most recent at the bottom). If you look go to June and click on one of the links you'll be taken to a judgment. Top right hand corner has the date it's released, centre of the first page will show the hearing dates. Ignoring the regional courts or where judgment has practically been released instantly after, a month to 6 weeks from end of hearing seems to be typical running time. Didn't Rovers' hearing only end on 27 May?

Plus there are peculiarities in this instance:

    - It was a new judge drafted on to the case last minute,

    - the hearing was 7 days whereas most of those recent judgments released had hearings of just a couple of days, that's double the information for her to wade through,

    - The Southward Housing association case seems to be about contractual terms and their effect and that took nearly 5 months (I'm not suggesting read across, merely just pointing out that in this instance its only just coming up to 3 weeks),

    - It seems very likely that whoever loses in Court will appeal. Therefore she's going to want judgment to have dotted i's and crossed t's completely as chances are it will be pulled apart and tested.

Because judgment was asked for asap it seems like this is going on for a long time but you can't rush justice and in the grand scheme of things it's really not been that long yet.

Thanks for that 29AR. I stand corrected. :-)
