  1. If it was still the Ashton era we'd have to hear the drivel about how he considers Semenyo a friend and all that self indulgent shite...
  2. I remember Ashton crapping on about how we could break the club's transfer record to sign him, as if any of that sentence was even remotely impressive or wise...
  3. Encouraging stuff. I would definitely make A Block my regular spot if it all goes ahead
  4. I think it's hilarious and always join in when I hear it. Any mate I've brought to Ashton Gate have left saying that chant was their favourite and unique to us. Ultimately its all about having fun and not taking yourself too seriously. Fair enough on those who dislike this chant and prefer the more traditional ones as I understand the rationale why.
  5. I did notice at the Swansea game that quite a few people left S82 at half time and joined A Block, which did help the atmosphere a lot (that and the fact we actually started playing football in the second half!) I'm all for the idea and if anything would happily join them as its a nightmare getting tickets in S82 unless it's a cup game.
  6. Hell of a lot of fun second half.
  7. What is this fixation with crossing the ball when we are clearly not set up for it, or even have any players capable of hitting a cross?
  8. Yes, it was absolutely awful from start to finish. I said that myself. It was quite frankly an embarrassment; just like when S82 decided to give young Joe Low absolute dog's abuse against Lincoln. I do, however, think that giving away fans the entire Atyeo does not help at all. I tell my friends who support other teams that they'd love an away day at Ashton Gate. We've got a lovely city, they'll get to make a hell of a lot of noise in a stand on their own, and they'll most likely win too!
  9. Poor, toxic atmosphere no doubt. The way that Ashton Gate is currently set out gives an advantage to the away team. However, when all we are being served is absolute predictable shite and there's no signs of change, people are inevitably going to voice their discontent...especially when they have to pay up to £40 for the privilege! So typical of the Lansdown era; build a beautiful new stadium but not get the fan placement or singing sections right. I get the Atyeo is the 'worst' stand but it would help the atmosphere significantly in we were in there instead. Going away is not just better for the team; it's better for the fans too.
  10. Completely different discussions. With a manager you have a small base of known names, so it's plausible to name them. Owners? No. Its more you find out about them as they declare their interest. Look at the sheer diversity of those who go into club ownership. This debunks the validity of the point you are trying to make.
  11. Manager doesn't matter. Steve Lansdown is to blame and things won't change until he finally admits that and sells the club.
  12. somehow even more frustrating and difficult to watch than I thought it would be, how is that even possible
  13. Given how this ref has been so far I wouldn't be surprised if the 2034 World Cup ends up being held in his back garden...
  14. Yep, this happened and was very noticeable when Joe went to collect the ball for a throw in. He looked devastated enough without some of our fans turning it into a walk of shame.
  15. Just hurry up and sell the club Steve. Thanks for the shiny stadium and training ground, but it's time to just go back to Guernsey and run out the clock.
  16. We've got to get Joe Low off the pitch. Poor lad is getting slaughtered
  17. Jay Dasilva couldn't cross a road. He's a decent player at this level but don't we just see that shortcoming week after week
