  1. They seem to fixate in popping up in totally unrelated subjects, spouting that nonsense and then becoming precious when challenged on it. Then they somehow conclude that this means they were right? Almost as strange as our stadium announcer still being employed despite being persistently inept for some time now...
  2. It wasn't thrown in an area where people were present. Ayling was silly to get himself associated with the incident but SL overreacted in pushing him out of the club
  3. I for one am very excited to hear Steve's interview in three years time where he talks about wanting to follow the 'Millwall model' or 'Coventry model'!
  4. Has been a reluctant owner for some time now. Same old, unconvicingly delivered comments. Thank you for what you have done Steve but I still think we aren't getting to the Premier League with him owning the club - and his stereotypical billionaires son 'running' it!
  5. Thank you, Kev, I thought I had already put you in my ignore list. Think I'll just do that now, actually
  6. I didn't even know Naismith had been subbed on until he scored!
  7. Roberts' ability to play the ball through tight passing lanes is fantastic
  8. I wouldn't have any of it to actually happen until at least next season. It's a big job no doubt. I remained ambiguous for 'generous offer' as ultimately that's just going to go down to the individual. Something does need to change re: the atmosphere at most games and there is no way of trying to do something about it without disappointing at least a few people. I fully understand the positions of those who disagree with that decision but do think it would be of more benefit to at least thousands of others at the game if we had a way to get even the most basic chants across the ground. Not all of those that want to are sixteen year olds who want to say rather un-nice things to whoever we are 'welcoming' that week. Many City fans want to be somewhere where they can chant and bring atmosphere. Then we will be able to do more in unison other than that distinctly Bristolian 'angry sigh' as the players make a mistake!
  9. I think people forget that S82 tickets are hard to get if you only go on occasion. There are plenty of people that would like to be able to stand and sing, yet cannot do so since there is no other area of the ground where it is really accepted. Block A was a pretty spontaneous thing at the Swansea cup game, basically happening over half time. The atmosphere did improve considerably before it, despite lower crowds. We also happened to play a lot better but it's not exactly a sample size to base anything on! Give them the upper A block to start, make sure to give an appropriately generous offer to those who have to give up their cherished seats, then we could be on to something.
  10. Been coming. We still seem scared of being in the lead. Held out longer than we usually do but still a shame to see it
  11. Had a good last five minutes or so, played some solid through balls
  12. This isn't standard Prestonball we are seeing here, they are playing genuinely good stuff
  13. Meh. Not terrible, not great. Lively couple of minutes at the end, maybe we are growing into the game
  14. I reckon Brad Potts is the type of player that will cause us a lot of issues

  16. Don't worry Hibs fans, I'm sure he will pick a team he can trust for the second leg...
