One of the nicest opposing conversations I have had on here in fairness!

Bugger! Consider myself told then

Broadmead is not what it was and the club could see an opportunity in this. I would make it a shop and then space for the community trust to operate, especially considering the area is easily accessible by bus. There aren't enough affordable 'third spaces' these days and having something for families to come and access support or just a safe space would be a massive boost for the club and city, on top of what is already offered in South Bristol. On a more anecdotal note I went to Birmingham a few years ago and saw a Villa club shop. It was busy with tourists and also created the sense that this was Villa's city. I have taken friends to AG and nearly all have left very disappointed by the club shop when they absolutely would have bought something if anything was available. I agree with your points on the club shop although think that times are changing and the prospect of a shop/community space in the centre would be a real plus for an area that is in a real identity crisis and decline.

Might look prettier than the old 'megastore' but nowhere near as good! Surprised the club/ BS Group don't have another small outlet in Broadmead all year round

One of those where if his attitude wasn't so poor he would have been a Premier League regular. Huddersfield fans saying that he threw his toys out of the pram when it all started going wrong for them too.

One of the best cup ties I have ever watched. Both myself and the better half are ill today so been glued to the sofa watching it. Got a mate who is a Maidstone fan and he is still in complete disbelief -
Hudson-Odoi reminded me of a certain other footballer named Callum...and not in a good way!

Kasey Palmer
The Nest Egg replied to formerly known as ivan's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
Goading the crowd is part of the pantomime that is football. Racism, however, is not. No excuse. Kasey Palmer isn't exactly my favourite player and if I see him play us I'm sure I'll boo or something like that when he touches the ball. If he scores, I'm sure he will give it back! That people think an acceptable response to that is to racially abuse him is absolutely ridiculous, I hope the offending fans get a lifetime ban. -
A couple of my West Brom supporting mates sat with me in the Lansdown when we played them last. One of them pointed out the mural of the Man U win and said how tinpot that made us look. All I could think was 'bloody hell mate, thank god we weren't in the South Stand as you would have roasted the sh*t out of the Liverpool mural!'

FM24 legend! Has the RB position locked down in my save (sorry Tanner, I gave you a chance but you kicked right off and Ipswich came to me with £3.5m, so what was I supposed to do?)

Almost definitely going to be some form of throwback, so would have one of these. The 91 shirt is a proper hidden classic and I think the 15/16 one is really sharp and a future classic. I also think the champagne and teal kit could end up being done again. Yes, it's bloody hideous but the now iconic purple and lime kit was considered awful for some time as well! 2000s nostalgia is very much gaining traction too.

Oh Frankie, on his day he could stop a ****ing freight train but in all his years here I don't think I ever saw one successful kick from him -

Very regularly gets plaudits from opposition fans, we just don't seem to appreciate him. It's how I used to feel before I gave my head a wobble! -
Do you remember when he cooked and ate that orphan in the dugout at Wycombe away? I was always a fan of his but am still amazed he was not sacked for it

Those ratings are never worth anything as anyone can vote on them, just a bunch of salty West Ham fans throwing a tantrum because we didn't lie down for them
