  1. I get that, but not getting "hammered", are we? And unless you honestly have so little faith in our team that you think we'll now go on to ship 4 or 5, which is a hammering in my eyes. Relaise there are some quite determine to knock LJ at every opportunity, but always better to judge the team once they actually cross the white line.
  2. Surely you mean Rovers? All the noises they've been making you'd have thought it was the saga who were walking that league...
  3. The fact MK now also have a worse goal difference than us helps immensely. That point against Rotherham now looks like an excellent result, consisdering how easily they've taken control at the Dons.
  4. Terrible situation for the bottom three just now. If Fulham also manage a win this could all but relegate Charlton and MK Dons.
  5. BBC given it as an OG, but official Twitter says Tomlin off a Matthews' pass - what I'd give to have both of them here next year.
  6. I took it from the club's Twitter; it was confirmed before I even posted it here - not sure I can be clearer than I have been. And PO is 34 and has played 155 mins of football already this week without having got many mins before that this season. so imagine he's neededing resting. Can't imagine he'll not play a good 20-30 mins later.
  7. I got it off the club's Twitter, so doubt it's wrong. And we'll see RE us getting hammered; plenty have said this before a ball has been kicked (particularly those not fans of LJ) and we've gone out and proven them wrong, so we'll see what the team does. Personally not delighted with Bryan in defence, but a midfield of Korey and Pack always gives us a chance.
  8. I certainly rate Ayling, but second best player? That's bold. I think he needs to show significantly more than he has to prove that, in my personal opinion.
  9. Bryan at left back; not sure about that. Last match he played there (away to Leeds) he was our weakest link by a country mile, so concerned we'll get exposed there. Still; certainly a side set up for pace and attacking play. COYR
  10. subs: Fielding, Pearce, Little, Golbourne, Wagstaff, Odemwingie, Agard.
  11. Bristol City v Sheff Wed: O'Donnell, Matthews, Flint, Baker, Bryan, Pack, Tomlin, Smith, Freeman, Reid, Kodjia.
  12. My thoughts too. And Fulham winning really will have impacted on MK too, as until their last couple of games, the Cottagers were giving the Dons hope that they could catch at least one team. Said it a little while back; due to their form, the game with Rotherham was more a 'must not lose' than a 'must win', and that a point each might end up as valuable as a win, depending on how the bottom three go on. With only Charlton and MK in a position to catch us now, and the useful fact that come Saturday, even a draw or MK win coupled with a loss for us won't hugely dent our gap to the bottom three (and I fancy Rotherham to refuse to lose to the Dons), then we should be happy that withstanding a disastrous run of form, coupled with a remarkable run from one of Charlton or MK, we should be safe. Weirdly, fancied us more for a win at the weekend than last night; less pressure, and against a side who will try and play - would very much 'fit' with us this season if we did better against a team higher in the league.
  13. 7 point gap on the drop zone with 6 to play, and Rotherham to play MK Dons at the weekend too. Nice one; would have take a draw with none of the bottom three winning before we kicked off, so happy with that. Back to enjoying Paris. COYR
  14. Only one of those teams is in the relegation zone, and one is above us. Frankly I'm glad Fulham won today; realistically MK Dons will struggle with their run in, and is rather they stayed as far behind us as possible. Said a few weeks ago that the Rotherham game might end up with both of us not badly served by a draw, and that is the situation we find ourselves. Depending on what happens on Tuesday, Rotherham against MK Dons next weekend could effectively put the former out of real danger, and make it a straight fight between Fulham and MK for that final spot - trick is we just need to grab enough points to stay out of the equation.
  15. Spot on. Even a draw Tuesday isn't the end of the world so long as MK Dons get nothing; we simply have to stay above the fray.
  16. Can't argue with that. Also; hope LJ and Pembo look at Charlton's late win, then impose on the players that it is far from certain we're safe. An injection of leadership in the shape of Wilbs and hopefully Smith too on Tuesday will give us a little more edge.
  17. My hope is he was playing a more 'gung-ho' selection today as he was saving the likes of Wilbs and Smith for Tuesday. As it stands; we'll need to beat Rotherham - their form is crazy, and unless we stop them, they'll put us right back in the fight, and we can't allow that. Fulham have done us a bit of a favour today too; still 6 points off the drop zone, despite a thrashing. Onwards to the next one; Tuesday night we'll need to be on fire, as Rotherham are hot right now.
  18. Freeman hits the post. Shame; he's looked half-decent since coming on. Also; Wilbs has made a difference here - ball has stuck up top and we've been able to play off him. I was one of his critics earlier in the season, but I'm now thinking he'll be vital in helping us stay up.
  19. Maybe. It was wild, but at least he got the ball! And as for that 4th goal; garbage defending. Again. Really hope we react to this Tuesday, because although a point here was the most I expected, I didn't expect us to look as open and spiritless as we have today. Hull have quality players and are organised, but we made it very, very easy for them today. Rotherham will also be organised and up for the fight; we need to approach that game right, as a loss there is a lot more meaningful than a loss here.
  20. Other than Pack's saving tackle in the first half, and Bryan's shot just then, our midfield has been dominated by Hull today. Smith has been sorely missed. Think the international break has done is no favours; Hull got a chance to regroup, we lost our momentum.
  21. Where the **** was our midfield there? Replay shows Bryan strolling back as the Hull lad faced up Flint and had a go - shameful defending by the young lad. We're defending like a bunch of tramps, and much of the fault is that of our midfield.
