I’m actually surprised LJ took on a job like Sunderland. The fans and people up there are a different breed to us laid back Bristolians. They’re a massive club in League One and will be wanting instant success, so I’m not sure LJ is the man to do that as he likes long term ‘projects’.

Looks to be a great win by England. Outclassed India really and won those moments with the bat and ball. Only criticism I could say is that we need a bit more consistency from Bess and Leach to build pressure at one end.

Me too. There’s definitely a player in there, I just think he needs to find his feet as an opener and adjust to the conditions in the subcontinent.
