I find it disappointing that after a season when he has improved so much that their are rumours we might be selling him. How does the team/squad ever improve by continuing to do this.
See I can understand this point too. I’m really unsure on this one, especially as this season has been Semenyo’s breakthrough.
He is bound to improve so I would be a little disappointed if he was to leave this soon.
-
Ah, Semenyo...
He’s one of those players and at his age, it’s difficult to weigh up because he could be so so good. I wouldn’t like to be in the board room for this one...

Havent looked for a while but Sunderland fans continue to be unimpressed with the LJ bullshit.
Worst run since 2017/2018 doesn't ruffle Johnson
Just a question of pressing the right re-set button apparently. He's even confident and looking forward to the play offs. Is he right or is he alright?
My instinct tells me he’s waffling shite.
He's done here, proved he's not upto the job.
Needs to reset himself the fkn chancer. If he spent as much time picking the team as he does on selecting his touchline attire we'd be sound. Bloke's not fit for purpose.
Well it should. I dont like him and his smirk.
I’ve watched blokes in betting shops confident that the next one will win and wipe out all their losses. Johnson’s the same as them. He’s a gambler dressed up as a tactical and motivational genius.
johnston thinks he some sort of genius
Why does he always come out with riddles clichés etc. starting to really get on my nerves now. speaks a good game but cant deliver. he would have a great career in politics. dont like him
Lee Johnson says one or two players have been affected by their contract situation at #SAFC.
Sounds to me like he's throwing them under the bus.
Seems like it’s look at them and not Lee scenario
He's such a bullshit merchant. ******' hell.
Maybe they don't know their pomos from their super strengths.
Surely all the other clubs must have some players in the same situation...?
Sunderland fans after one season of LJ...

What stadium is he referring to?

He sure did!
Oh my!
I can’t see him lasting the rest of the season. He’ll walk.

I’m getting flashbacks of 2015...

Rochdale winning

Financially they must be in a right mess?
What is it 4 managers this season? Finishing bottom without a fight...
-
Sooner they bugger off and go out of business, the better.
Complete waste in this City.

I hate to say it but I have a niggling feeling that they will stay up, I hope I am wrong though of course!
Looking from the outside in, they look brown bread to me. Wigan and Wimbledon are the only teams they can catch, but look far superior to those few blues.

Ha ha.
Bit of an overreaction there methinks.
They’ve just lost 2 in a row having just lost only 2 in 28!!!
I think a 17-9-2 record affords him a bit of wriggle room after 2 defeats. This is Sunderland fans we’re talking about here...

If we can reduce them to 350 that’ll be a good job done. Providing we keep taking wickets...

Possibly my best year. Did you have a ticket last year? I didn't, and dread having to watch on TV...
Nope, couldn’t manage to get through last year!

Ah mate! I saw the holy trinity of Idles, Sleaford Mods and [Liam] Fontaines DC that year. Loved it. Was a great Glastonbury all round though mind.
Was class wasn’t it?
The weather was scorching too!

You missed out the last oooos?
Ha!
I still regret missing their set at Glastonbury in 2019 when I was there.

Ahh the Idles. Bit of a racket for some I get that, but I like them.

I wonder what the financial implications of them being relegated will be.
Can’t imagine it’ll be ideal.
3 managerial changes to add to the financial mess. I can’t see Barton staying down in L2...

But that’d be a point dropped by a team around them. Swings and roundabouts but we need their competitors to get wins.
Oh yeah absolutely.
It’s just that every point is crucial when you’re down there. Points don’t come too often!

Coutts is a decent signing for them. Haven’t heard of the others though...
