How about a song for Kalas after 3 years??
Even ‘There’s only one Tomas Kalas’ is better than what we have now as far as I am aware.
Said it a while ago but I think Mo Salah’s song for Liverpool would suit TK…
Tom Kalas! Tom Kalas!….. Charging in the air….
Kalaaaaaaaaaaaasssssss he’s got slick back hair…..
Song - Sit down. Wording could be better of course but I’ve just made that up for example! The tune would suit his name. -

Pleased for him as he took a gamble in joining a club that was in a real mess when he did so (another summer signing from Exeter backed out of his transfer), has got himself a run of first team games & (admittedly at L2 level) he’s clearly doing well.
Jojo is 25 now & let’s face it, realistically was never anywhere near the first team bar some time on the bench because we needed to include him as a home produced player, so it was good for him & for us that he moved on.
25 is young for a goalkeeper though, he still has a chance to go far in the game if he keeps this up. This move for him might be the best move that’s happened to him!
See where he is at 27/28.

I agree.
I’ve pretty much given up coming up with likely team changes….Nige keeps his cards pretty close to his chest. Plus within the squad (of which I genuinely think it’s 22 strong), I don’t have a problem who he picks. If O’Dowda and Williams are fit to be included, that keeps us nice and strong, with Massengo and possibly Semenyo injured.
If most weeks he has 20 to pick his 18 from we are gonna be fine.
It’s nice to have in NP’s words ‘realistic competition’. Everybody is itching to get onto the pitch - no passengers. It’s a shame about Massengo but it’s given Joe Williams a chance, and he certainly gave something for Nige to think about yesterday.

Still very early days for young George, but you hope this is one where the step-up from Lg2 to Championship is slightly mitigated by his youth career at Man Utd…where he will have been coached well (despite what Chris Beech said). He will now be playing with better players too. No disrespect to Carlisle, but the 50+ clips I watched of him v Hartlepool his centre-backs looked bloody awful.
As per many other players, it’s more about how they play after the initial flurry of games.
Massengo plateaued - tactics in sone respects.
Bakinson plateaued as teams sussed him out.
Pring has now had two very ordinary games too….yet to complete a 90 either (I don’t have an issue with that, he’s been at full-tilt for 65-70 each game).
Sometimes you need to take them out of the firing line for a period, e.g. Alex Scott.
Nige will pick and choose how to expose them throughout the season.
Regarding Pring, I think we’ll see O’Dowda come back into the side. Nige always talks about players coming into the side, that they have to take their chance of staying there.
Overall Pring has done well so far, but with 3 games in a week, we might see a change on that left hand side.

Never really got the hype with AJ personally, but there we are.

New fury. The stronger version would be comfortable.
Doesn’t fill me With confidence at all.
I think he’s overhyped to be honest. British boxer, wanting to be seen as the ‘good guy’ etc.
Fury and even Wilder beats him imo.

AJ pretty shite isn’t he?

I’ve been waiting for Joe Williams to blossom with us. He’s had a terrible time with injuries at City, hopefully that’s well behind him now.
I was really excited when he signed, that excitement is still there. Pleased for the lad!

Great to see.
I’ve got no worries about this squad going to Millwall away in midweek, because you know what we’re going to get. I certainly didn’t feel like that last season.
Committed, proactive, never say die attitude and at the right times decent quality.
Long may it continue.

USA are just landing better shots at the minute.

I’ve had to mute this. Few hours in and the yanks are unbearable already…

I fancy us tomorrow, weird I know. But Major does make a valid point, Fulham will come at us tomorrow and that could play into our hands.
We’re due a home W.

It is almost like he's just thought "Ah **** it, might as well go full Brent".
As cringeworthy as he could be whilst he was here, he's definitely got worse since leaving.
I thought the same.
Imagine him doing that in front of the Dolman? The blokes got a screw loose.

I’d love to see Tanner given a go at RB. After all, he has played RB for the majority of his young career…
He seriously can’t be anymore bland than what we’re seeing.

I hate threads like this. Shite post but it gets lots of attention because it’s a shite post…

I reckon Nige is bluffing about not making any changes.
