Is that the Telephones ground where City are training?

Scotty Murray would be all over this.

Thought he was really poor & always feel more comfortable saying that when we have won.
Every time Martin & Semenyo put in a challenge their defenders went to ground & he bought it.
However he let their defenders shirt pull Martin & foul Semenyo & gave very little.
Crap.
I think that’s just the way it is with modern refereeing unfortunately. The defenders and keepers get the protection…
It really boils my piss when a defender goes into his corner and flops to the floor. The referees buy it all the time.

Yeah again I’d agree - @Davefevs it’s not even close to the same thing. What your example shows is the players spontaneously doing a very good thing for Joe and you. That’s a million miles away from someone running on the pitch and accosting Alex Scott.
Agree. It’s a big difference.
I’m talking about parents and kids waiting around with signs for ‘free merch’.

Needs to stop. Seeing it more and more at other games too.
Also, don’t know about anyone else, but I absolutely cringe when people take ‘please give me your shirt’ signs in!!!Absolutely this.
It’s beyond cringeworthy, it’s the parents that are worse. Absolute begs the lot of em.

I really enjoyed today. My Mum passed away on the 23rd of January, and today was my first day back at the Gate. The introduction of the AG8 was emotional, and the 90 minutes that followed was the perfect tonic.
I was telling my mates boys about the Fulham game in the pub pre match, when a bunch of kids played their hearts out for the club.
Today was an echo of that, fittingly in front of the men that helped save the club.
Sorry to hear that mate. Glad you enjoyed the day

With AS having a reputation of being a humble and modest guy I’m hoping that he’ll have a sense of loyalty to the club that gave him his chance in professional football and resist the temptation of the attraction of the PL.
Theres absolutely no doubt in my mind that where he’s heading but hopefully not this summer
He’s a London lad though. I can see Fulham(if they go up!) or Palace coming in for him.
If that’s the case, he won’t be here sadly.

Another game, another goal and assist.
This thread is going well. -

Boro fans touch of class today to be fair to them. Worth a mention. Applauded throughout the AG8 celebrations and in the 8th minute too. Just thought they came across as a proper bunch in general and glad a few of ours were applauding on the way out.
I like Boro.
And I’m not just saying that as we took 3 points off them… But they just come across as a club with no ego. They know what they are, very good fan base etc.

Everything he does has a purpose and an aggression to it. Pro-active instead of reactive. Someone the fans can get right behind!
Bang on.
That’s why I like him. He wants to make things happen.

Never a relaxing victory but F it, I’ll take this one.

Swansea getting battered.
Shame.

The best we can hope for is a Semenyo/Weimann counterattack.

Not there today… what is the shape/formation?
-
Not really following this but to have only one medal is pretty shocking right?…
Spain and Oz have more

Just about managed to get home alright
To be fair I was expecting worse this morning on the drive down, but at 7-8am it wasn’t too bad at all.
A38 was closed though.

Either way, this can’t end well if Nige has come out and said he disagrees with the chairman?
Even though the ‘chairman’ is a calamity.

Looking like it will blow a hoolie tomorrow. Hopefully everyone stays safe and AG swerves damage. My mates lad is flying down from Newcastle tomorrow in readiness to meet his old man and join the northerners in the Wedlock on Saturday. Brown paper bag at the ready!
What time tomorrow? I can’t see him flying with a red zone alert.
