People acting as if it was Man City playing a league 1 team ffs…..mental how anyone could actually think sacking Pearson for this guy would be good.
What is about Manning’s style of play and his coaching methods that you hate so much? Must be pretty clued up.
Imo, I still think sacking Pearson was ridiculous and totally unneeded at this point but I’d sooner give someone like Manning a go over Frank Lampard.

I can’t see it happening but one thing I do respect Lampard for is that he could have taken the easy life and got plenty of work as a pundit (still time for that I guess) but he is putting his football legacy on line by still backing himself to manage despite the obvious shortcomings he has shown over the past few years.
Feel he went in too early with the Chelsea job first time around when he should have been learning the trade in the Championship or below.- 1

Just heard that Matt Taylor turned the job down… has been in talks and was interested after compensation with Rotherham was agreed… but negotiations failed earlier this evening due to conditions within the contract.
Some load of bollocks you chat mind.

Pearson must have the eyesight of a hawk if he could see Roberts "limping around" from where he was.
I think it was bollocks tbh.
Another quirky little Nige thing.
Weird times at BCFC and it's only going to get better/worse
The issue seems to be your eyesight. Was clearly limping before coming off.

It would only take 2 hours, you never woke up at 6am for work??
No chance are you getting down to Bournemouth in a coach, on a busy morning, in 2 hours.
Of course people wake up early to go to work but it’s hardly giving the youngster the chance to properly prepare for games when you’re getting them out of bed at the crack of dawn.

How long does it normally take us to get from the ground to the station post match?
Is the 18:00 home a possibility?
Wouldn't worry too much about which specific train to book for the way back, you’ll be shoved on the first available train back.

Tend to agree with the Coventry fan, just get on with the game.

Just noticed all cross country trains are cancelled between Bristol and Birmingham due to flooding may see them bringing less down which should help us in what I think will be a close game
They’ve been told their train tickets will be still be valid if they travel via Reading or Worcester.

Can we have another new sub forum where everyone can start a thread regarding which topics that they don’t care about?

nor me, surely you would be asked to change at Reading?
No, the connecting train for these tickets is Paddington to EB.
Just a quirk of the system.

Hardly any saving then?
Add to that the ticket may not work on the barriers at Paddington
Same train but with it just being Parkway to Paddington is now £70.
You have to exit the main gates at Paddington to get to Ealing Broadway.

Out of interest is that the recommended journey that shows with these tickets?
Does it show changing at Paddington or Reading?
I was wondering if it is cheaper BECAUSE you are not entering Paddington?
Just like the split ticket using Didcot, the ticket is only valid if the train to London stops at Didcot
What is the fare on the journey above?
That only shows the journey from Parkway to Ealing
£42 Parkway to Ealing Broadway, changing at Paddington.

Always enjoyed it in there, not something I’d want to do every game but still a good day out.
Decent food and a decent atmosphere in there.

Finally Confident enough this won’t be moved now so going to book train tickets
Anyone else booked, what train time is best? Are we going to be marshalled into a pub or straight to the ground? Don’t want to get their too early or too late dependant on that really
Won’t be getting a beer in Cardiff that’s for sure. Possibility of stopping off in Newport on the way but that can be hit or miss as well.

If I can get tickets I plan to take my 9y/o boy. Having not been to QPR before as a parent, to those of you who have/do, what part of the away end is the safest/friendliest place for me to try and get me and him tickets? i.e Top tier, lower tier at the front, front right, front left etc etc
You can only pick sections of seats for away games rather than picking exact seats, ie for QPR the options to select will be UT Gold Normal/Silver Normal/Rail Seating.
Lower Tier seats are probably best for taking a young un. However, QPR is one where the majority of people will stand up for the entirety of the game, which is something to keep in mind. That said we’ve took the kids before and managed to squeeze them in at the bottom row.

Really think he will go on to be the one of the best players we’ve ever seen come out of this country
There’s some serious talent coming through. Will be exciting to see who else pushes through in the next 5/6 years. It’s why these pundits picking their England Euro 28 team is ridiculous.

£46 for a one month in advance return from Temp to Paddington Outrageous
It’s been around that amount for a few years now. Don’t think it’s all that bad compared to some fares.

TGH hasn’t been signed to play RB long term.
He looks a tidy footballer, looking forward to seeing him play in his more favoured position.- 8

Will be even better in a front two with TC…like Ajax’s Academy duo Kanu and Kluivert!
Tommy & Sam up top together is a nice thought and something I think the club had been planning for.
How would you set up the rest of the side?

You seem to have a dislike for him, just wondering what you know about him that would make a decision to be ‘mental’.
