Yeah let’s sack it off so we can can concentrate on our absolutely thrilling league season.
We’re 4 points off a play off place.
That said, we definitely shouldn’t be sacking off the FA Cup for the sake of the league.
Really looking forward to Sunday, hopefully it’s a great cup tie. -
Millwall are pretty much all or nothing.
It’s not like they haven’t played us away around New Year’s time before, I can see why they’re lot have looked at this game as a bit meh.

So it was easier to play in black?!? That’s a shocking reason really.
He means it’s easier, logistically, for them to have worn black tonight so the red shirts can have the new sponsors badge added to them in time for Mondays game.

Is this the first time we have played on consecutive Fridays since that great week back in 2001 when we beat Millwall then the week after we went to Reading and turned them over.
That week had everything, goals, drama and scraping galore.

3 tickets just came up for sale and whilst I have one already for me and my partner (both STH’s) I tried buying one for my son (who isn’t) but they’re still only allocated for sale to STH’s - I thought they’d be available to everyone now but clearly not the case I guess or am I missing something ?
Tickets sold out well before the window for STH finished so I’d guess they’ll leave any available tickets for STH who missed out the other week.

Just to confirm. Billy Sharp can't play against City on Friday. He isn't even eligible to play for Hull on New Years Day. Something about needing to be registered the day before to be eligible for the following day.
Either way, I'm glad he isn't playing against us.
He needed to be out of contract before the transfer window closed for Hull to have been able to register him to play before the next window opens.

Tbf, I don't do a massive amount of away trips nowadays due to my son's morning footy commitments but that's a good idea for others. I think I could have got the trip for £80 but I wanted an open return which bumped up the cost a bit....
Honestly they are great, usually use the rail card for 2/3 away games a year and then some summer trips with the rest of the family.
Open return when there’s 1000’s trying make their way back to Paddington isn’t a bad idea. -

I didn't think that was too bad. 95 notes for me and my son combined. If I drove up, petrol, parking and potentially ulez congestion charge....it wouldn't be far off that?
If you look to use the train for away trips regularly with your son, you should look at getting a friends and family railcard.
I paid around £50 for me and my son’s return for West Ham. The savings made that day cover the price of the railcard.

Watford away is a crap away day. The only redeeming factor is usually being able to get up there on the train and have a beer in London after the game, which isn’t possible on Boxing Day.

"Data doesn’t give you points or change league positions, but what it does tell you is the direction you’re heading in and if you continue to create chances, and minimise the opposition, then you’ll win games."
Assuming this is a correct quote from Manning as it’s on the Bristol Live page. What waffle! Back to the days of measuring grass it would seem. Its nearly enough to make you want to tap out at this point.

This isn’t the gotcha moment you think it is.
Everyone is using data now, it’s how you use that data. In terms of modern football, his comments here are definitely not out of the ordinary.
Hopefully we can start sticking the ball in the back of the net so this kind of nonsense can stop.

Shh, don't tell @Betty Swallocks..., it's just not gonna happen....
Are you suggesting @Tomo is trying to sell a ticket for profit? Pretty poor form on your part, if so.

Tickets sold 9k
Attendees being the purchasers 6.5k
Tickets sold for a profit 1k
No shows 1.5k
My guess
1k tickets being sold for profit
If there’s 1.5k of no shows (given these people will be looking to either give away or sell their ticket face value) there will be no market for anyone to sell tickets on for a profit.

Yes this definitely was an issue.
A mate went in at 9:45 and assigned 4 additional tickets to friends/family, none of whom have been to 3 away games, some haven't been to any, he paid and had email confirmation all before 10:00.
Isn't this more of an issue of them allowing access early? They never restrict access until bang on 10am?
Whenever I am buying tickets I usually start refreshing the online page from about half past/20 to the hour. -

I'm led to believe that there was an issue with the priority ST sale ( over 3 away games) that afforded the one eligible priority sale ST the ability to purchase unlimited normal ST holders tickets.
Either moving forward, the club need to fix this, or just put it out to all STs at the same time; regardless or how many away games they've been to.
Untrue, I did have a go at trying to get tickets for my mates who hadn’t been to 3 away games to see if it was possible but you get an error message and the checkout button is blanked out.
