Could well be this
Max
Tanner. Dickie. Vyner
Weimann. James. Williams. Sykes
Bell. Conway. Knight.
or knight behind two strikers
Yes knight behind strikers makes more sense. But is Pring not fully fit or LM making a statement on his form.
To me it shows that the squad just cannot cover injured players positions . And this 'Top six squad' quoted from our owners is total bollocks

I don’t want to see Conway anywhere other than central. But that’s just me. There are other players better at playing “in-between” positions imho.
It seems that Wells is do vital in enabling Conway to be effective.
Just my thoughts

Random question what is your Avatar a picture of? Every time I see it out of the corner of my eye I think it's the Bolton Wanderers Badge !
, it's not the Bolton Wanderers badge .
It is a squiggle.
A short line that loops and curves in an irregular fashion
Enough said

They'll probably beat us.
No we really got to go to teams in that sort of form and show what are top suits in the club have clearly indicated. That we are a top six side.

With the rise in status of the women's game. I don't see that selling both football teams at the club with AV and training facilities is a bad thing. And why would that put off buyers

Everyone knows that January is not the best time to do business but as BT said the club have summer targets that they might be able bring forward - we’ll just have to wait and see.
Its very likely that Manning will want to bring one or two players from Oxford - that begs an obvious question, could they make the step up in standard?
Who ?

That's a good shout. Bell & Mehmeti haven't done enough in my opinion. The Harry & Andi show then!
Does it not depend what's been happening on training

Port wells not fit. Conway+ Wells are good together
-
Okies from players subbed off tonight. And any in coming injury list becoming available. What is our fitness looking like for Saturdays game ? Which needs to be won
-
Think we need Wells fit again to play up front with Conway they work well together . How far is Wells off being fit ?

@Sheltons Army I said similar to what you sId on a WhatsApp to @petehinton.
He was everything I thought he’d be - knowledgeable, articulate, humble, and a bonus - with bit of humour thrown in. I had no issues whatsoever with his other interviews, in fact I thought they were all decent, but tonight he saved that event from being a bit of a flop.
It’s the second time I’ve heard him say he’s never chased the next job, the next role…basically let his work do the talking. I think we are in good hands.
He is a very good fit for what JL and Tins positioned as what they want. Let’s hope they support him well.
Yes interesting first week or three. LM looks good, speaks well and seems he might have something about him that could work well with the club/team. Still very worried how much control will BT and SL want to try and take on the team selection. And will SL give him at least some of that nest egg for new players. Because I just don't see a top six side in the current squad. I would love to be proved wrong

I think what most people are saying is that the foundations were set by Nige to start to take us forward, not go backwards. So Manning shouldn’t take us backwards. He can make an impression by continuing what was started. That’s my interpretation of what most are saying.
They aren’t saying he should’ve turned us into world-beaters in 3 weeks in charge. Even if the Heirarchy make stupid claims!
Yes wise words as always Dave. Can't go tomorrow but will be interesting to the line up after 3 weeks with the squad. Who has impressed the new boss in training and how the new boss sees those players lining up with their new tactical set up. I do not expect big changes. But who knows.

Just hope it’s good news on the Vyner front aswell as benerous , it just seems like every time we seem to get a player or two back we loose a couple and they all seem to be pretty long spells out . The danger is now as Atkinson / Conway / Benerous get back on the grass ( god I hate that saying ) and then get some games under there belt ( that one too ) there is always a big risk of either breaking down or more likely picking up little niggles that put you back a few more weeks at a time .
regarding injuries I have a negativity in me that either Williams , Naismith and James have a injury just around the corner. If we could keep a pretty much fully fit squad think we might surprise a few people .Yes a fully fit squad for a decent period of the season would be interesting to see how far we could push the league position. Are we a top six squad? I am really not sure . But would love to be proved wrong.
