Hope you all have a great day out tomorrow, health and wealth means my away days are over (and home come to that) will be watching and listening for sure.

Memories will be made, my thoughts are with you all :city:

Yes likewise health and wealth inhibiting travels with the city these days. Just enjoy going down the gate withy grandsons now and then. And hope those travelling get to enjoy some special day cup memories which I am lucky enough to have had from season's gone past

Today’s press interviews indicated “this boss ain’t for changing”…so similar set up / approach.

I am not sure whether to respect that attitude or think omg be more open-minded

Hey I am not a professional  league manager

And West ham is a free hit

I agree.  I think the stuff the club put out is good.  I think it’s where Jon’s heart lies.  Being rude I wish he stuck to that than try to be Chairman with aspirations of being CEO. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just get him away from anything to do with football at the club

  4. I can remember as a young lad already being an going to stand on the East and away trips loving the FS cup. And on final day . Watching from breakfast time through to the games end. It was so special.

Jealous of all those going. Shout and sing loud do our club proud. Fingers crossed for the team 🤞

  5. Gosh I always remember I would try boots on for ever trying to find the cheapest most comfy. I always wore two socks under my boots to have the shin pad between them . It saved taping the s.hin lads on. I remember when I started in the men's leagues at 15. I never wore shin pads. Untill one of the older players was covered a game in our reserve side . And was shocked I did not wear shon pads

He gave me his and ordered me to wear them . it so funny looking back

I would hazard a guess that this particular signing won't help the first team at all or very minimal at best this year

    Yeah my feelings too

Soo did our suits not suggest we had a good top six squad? Therefore would improving that squad not need oven ready players to improve that squad for the promotion push they inclined was their aim.

Just as I see it. And I appreciate I might of misunderstood the reasons for NP's sacking

Where could we possibly find the creative midfielder and striker that would be good enough, available and affordable and that would make an immediate impact?  The only realistic solution would be a gamble on the loan market and perhaps pull off a short term Tammy type master stroke loan… can’t see us taking that gamble either though.

Could maybe that youngster we moved on. I think called Alex Scott and that other hopeful  Semenyou made a difference?

Exactly this, Tanner had a good game against a lively threat and I can’t recall him putting a foot wrong. He’s not Pring and you’re not going to get gallivanting runs up the right flank, but he will keep the ball moving. He’s not a bad understudy when Macoirie (definitely not spelt correctly) becomes the starter

Still feel McCorie, who gives one about spelling, will be better used as defensive midfielder.

Thank you @Never to the dark side, I had thought that maybe you could take a picture that would change my mind, but it is truly a depressing place both inside and out.

I am really pleased that those who travelled got a fair amount of compensation for enduring it this time.

Yeah I went up there when we lost

3  - 0 there,  Cup game I think. Thought it was horrid in and outside. And their stewards where unhelpful.

I’m afraid your best bet is going to be the bus. In bound, The X1 stops at Clanage Road. (3 mins walk to the stadium) and outbound at Ashton Road.
if your Grandson is a little one, I would go early and leave AG late as the buses are often quite busy just before and after the game.

Grandsons 13 year old twins. Young adults as they keep telling me 😁

  11. I am staying with family in Weston for couple of weeks in Jan. And thought brilliant I get tickets for the Watford home game and take my grandsons . So book tickets and go to book the railway return to good old Parsons street from Weston . And bugger me there no trains due to rail works.

So my question is, is there a way around this other than booking coach tickets return ?

Totally get that, it’s their prerogative, but I suspect they are missing out on some sales as a result…and the non-tangible, loss of atmosphere too.

I don't get how people can afford season tickets in the SS, even if U12 price and not use or go other parts of the ground. I can not even afford ST for me and my grandsons in Family section
