Ahhh, Farooq had the advantage. He didn’t have a horse mask on. Would’ve been a different story otherwise...
-
Special bunch aren’t they They aren’t in it because they are an embarrassment to this fine city.
-
I tell you what they’ll happily leave a foot in for a tackle. Having reffed woman’s football they are more fearless in a tackle that’s for sure. The only thing I’d say is it’s slightly slower. But actual skill there’s not much difference. Man City Woman’s would probably beat rag ass rovers!!

What’s 50k to SL anyway
-
If/when they go bust this thread won’t die. It’ll only just be getting started

She just sat in the corner and watched.

Would be fantastic to see the sags go under due to an outstanding bill of £500,000 for Tent arrears from Go Outdoors

Club or company? I know a few gasheads lack brain cells but the ones that have an established company surely know that the Company they’ve built comes first. The club don’t want to ruin those relationships either so it baffles me as to why they won’t cough up what they owe, unless they really are that skint!?
-
Word on the grapevine is they are in financial ruin. I know a lot of people knew that already but there is a a whole string of companies that haven’t been paid by the fewers. Will soon end up like pompey minus the 20,000 fans willing to pay their own money to keep the ship floating

It’s difficult to laugh when it’s going to the same on here tomorrow night?
-
Just imagine where we would be if our ‘rivals’ actually challenged us on and off the field!? in our geographical position it’s as if mid table championship is accepted. Shame we’re not going to get a nudge anytime soon

They do make me chuckle
-
Imo it’s more of a laugh than a hatred for them. They went down, the away end at Crawley was pissing themselves. NLBR. All their fans getting excited because Wael has money, then they realise we were right and he doesn’t have money, that was funny. That came with their fans (not just the one in the car) stating they were coming for us and they are the bigger club in Bristol, that was bleeding hilarious. So @Ivorguy if they did go into administration then I would have a jolly good chuckle, first 15ers then who knows... we could be calling them the 18ers. Its all for chuckle at our annoying little brother, actually it’s not right saying we’re related. Annoying neighbor who moans at everything we do.

Did you know Barca have never won a League 1 game!! Rovers > Barca feel for there fans tbh. One of the best players in the world with Messi but can’t quite do it against Wimbledon

Wasn’t there but watched at home Maenpa - 9. Felt confident with him in goal going into the last 10 mins. Claimed everything. Made good saves and seems commanding. I don’t like to belittle players but I feel with FF in goal they would’ve scored with the pressure they applied late on. Hunt - 7. Kept a clean sheet and obviously helped with that. Montero had the better side of him on a few occasions but in all honesty Montero will probably do that to most RB this season Kalas - 8. Calm and composed. Positioning is second to none, blocks crosses, intercepts and has a footballing brain. Knows when to pass short and when to play it into the channels. Webster - 8. Was strong today. Won a lot of headers and same as Kalas, positioning was good and use of the ball was good as well. Kelly - 9. (MOTM) Giving him an extra mark due to his age. He is something special, no fear and strong in the tackle. Again part of the back line that looked solid today. Watkins (5) O’Dowda - 7. Watkins, not sure if I’m expecting too much from him but it’s as if he’s trying too hard to create chances. O’Dowda, a solid performance, helped Hunt and Pisano out with the countless attacks down their left and looked good going forward. Brownhill - 8. Another special player. Gets stuck in. Up for a physical battle and has some very nice touches. Gets himself all over the pitch. Pack - 8. Keeps it simple, ball keeps moving. Links defence to strikers incredibly well and very useful in the air. Elliason - 8. Another assist for our swede! This will be the season he shines. If we can keep that back line solid so he doesn’t have to drop back, even though he was good at that today as well, he’ll get 10-15 assists this season. Taylor - 7. Challenged every ball. Ran the channels but doesn’t find himself in the goal scoring positions I’d want my ST to be in. It’ll come with confidence and game time I’m sure though. Weimann - 9. Signing of the summer for the league? Puts himself about. Comfortable on the league and he gets himself in the position to score goals. Him and Eliasson can form a formidable partnership. Pato and Pisano weren’t on long enough for a rating.

Hopefully he’ll get a hatty at least......

They’ve got a tricky few games coming up... I know it’s early but if they don’t get something from Wycombe they could quite easily end the month with nil points. Wycombe (A) Pompey (H) Southend (H) So my gas head (mates) at work are feeling a little bit nervy already

The mem, tits everywhere
