  1. Can't comment on '68 I'm thinking 72ish, 500 Oxford seems a lot and in yellow hard hats!!! Never heard that story before, can anyone enlighten us?
  2. HaHa beat me to it, can't remember Oxford away but I can certainly remember a few Oxford on the East End in one game in the early 70's
  3. Think we played Millwall the week before at AG where there was plenty of trouble hence them turning up at Swindon looking for revenge, I'd say it was '72 or '73
  4. Exactly as I remember it even when they had Millwall helping them out
  5. It seems we all know that except for one person
  6. Swindon is such an irrelevant club and Town that I feel it's impossible to have any hatred for them, maybe it's just because I can remember the fun days we had on the Town End back in the 70's
  7. Sorry, what I found strange about your comment was that you had a bigger dislike for Swindon and Cardiff than Rovers, personally I feel totally indifferent towards the two of them whereas Rovers, apart from being totally Reprehensible are also pathological liars
  8. What a very strange comment, you are surely on your own there
  9. Nearly choked on myYorkshire pud when I read that, they are becoming more and more delusional, how the hell can they compare themselves with Brighton in any shape or form?
  10. Where would they be without their numerous penalties, injury time winners and opposing players being sent off? Their luck is finally catching up with them, couldn't beat a woefully poor bottom four club MK over 2 games and the same against conference bound Crawley in the cup over 180 minutes, throw in the big defeats against Millwall and Charlton show that the wheels are starting to fall off, back to under 7000 for the next home game me thinks
  11. One gas idiot thinks they'll be in the top 5 by Xmas as they have to play 4 of the bottom 6 in the next 4 games
  12. Throw in the fact that they couldn't beat basement Crawley in the cup over 180 minutes, Crawley are truly shocking and destined for the Conference
  13. Oh dear, only 7000 gas there and they got their usual penalty but still lost by four, wheels starting to come off I'm afraid, as for that joker on Rad Bristol saying how great the fans are and how they should be "man of the match" because no other team's supporters would of stuck it to the end, the delusion is spreading
  14. Plymouths away support has always been impressive
  15. Wasn't the 79 an incorrect figure and isn't the distance to Scunthorpe three times longer than the distance to Portsmouth
  16. Wasn't ground work at the UWE meant to start in October? They must be working this weekend
  17. Great logic Miah, can't deny your team are having an excellent season so far all be it a bit fortuitously at times, what's the latest on the new ground?
  18. Absolutely no wish to play Rovers ever again, they will be in a "no lose" situation
  19. I remember when we both in the second tier back in the 70's and even then their crowds were well below ours, the fact is they will always be in our shadow, always have been and always will be particularly when they move out of Bristol and into South Glos'
  20. Bert is an absolute legend, my favourite Rovers fan
  21. Haha I was probably on he pitch with you, there for the WHU game as well after our game at the Saints was called off at the last minute
