So true, conceding 7 tries in two games against Pirates and Richmond is unacceptable.
Reckon a new defence coach is a must in the summer, we have some top quality players who can obviously tackle well but if they aren't being told how to defend then their quality is worthless.
The line defence and defence in and around the rucks has improved, massive changes needed in the scrum and defending of mauls though as we were being bullied by amateurs yesterday
This is what really annoys me - we're playing teams that train twice a week FFS yet still we concede far too many points.

Yet still we concede far too many tries! If we're shipping points against Richmond and Pirates imagine how Chiefs and Sarries will profit from our usual loss of focus we seem to suffer from.

Off here in Brittany to enjoy a crepe or two to celebrate yet another great day for The Robins
Beautiful part of the world. Whereabouts? Have a great night.

Personally I think it would actually be healthy for Bristol if they are pushed to the title instead of having it all done and dusted by January.
Bonus point wins for Bristol and Ealing on the road today, so as you were...
I know what you mean, but seeing as I'm going to Ealing in Feb I'd like that to be the game that we secure it!

Another big game on Saturday up at Doncaster having put Nottingham to the sword last weekend. Let's hope the lads up at Hartpury can do us a massive favour and at least stop Ealing from taking maximum points.

They hadn't lost all season at home so that was a big big win. Ealing go to Nottingham on Sunday which is live on http://www.championshiprugby.co.uk/

Big win for the Rugby club in Yorkshire last night so let's hope the Football club can put in a copycat performance.

I'm torn between (i) the players being fire up to "win it for Bails" or (ii) our plans having being flushed down the sh*tter by the FA's farcical 2-match ban for being fouled.
Either way it's gonna be a tough game, with a certain rotund, trouble-making, philanderer no doubt fated to have a hand in the outcome.

I'm playing a solid front line of Red Berry Tea and a dish of Apple Crumble & Custard. Cracking selection.

Ealing running out of steam I reckon, should be an easy win next st home to Roth and hopefully open up a wider gap to Ealing
It's free for all City season ticket holders so should be a good crowd for a points-fest! Immediately followed by England v. Argentina!

And Ealing didn't get a BP from their win

Big game at Jersey tmrw, who don't score many - or concede many. Hopefully we'll be back up to full strength and another BP win will be our's.

Announcement by Bris on Facebook live at 5:30pm tonight. Another signing lined up for next season?

Not so sure about that, from what I have been told he realised it wasn't going to be plain sailing this season
So when he said we should be running in 50pt wins every week he was joking?

Let’s not underestimate how important this weekend’s game is mind. It’s not turning out as Chris Booy thought it would!
with the score at 0-0 about 5 mins before the break on Sunday I was worried. A good 2nd half though for another BP win. Some tough games on the horizon with Bedford and Ealing up soon

Sadly I can see us losing this one, but that might just be because I haven't had breakfast yet.
Chips?

Lucky to come away with the full haul of 5pts. Don't think the weather helped by the sounds of it mind. Need a big improvement from the pack by the sounds of it.

Not the start to the season most people expected! Most games will see us having to cope with the other side having a "cup final" mentality but that's no excuse. Poor kicking, sloppy interplay and awful lineouts made it a poor spectacle. Definitely need to gel together as a team more and quickly otherwise confidence will spiral downwards.

There's the potential to watch a record breaking season for Bris this year. For anybody interested, POTD may be high as mentioned above, if you only go to a few games why worry about it? For those with STs or dual STs it promises to be a season of high entertainment at AG!
