  1. There's the potential to watch a record breaking season for Bris this year. For anybody interested, POTD may be high as mentioned above,  if you only go to a few games why worry about it? For those with STs or dual STs it promises to be a season of high entertainment at AG!

What makes you think that Bristol Rugby have nowhere permanent to play? Are you in some sort of state of denial that City and Bris share Ashton Gate?

Had a chat to Pat Lam at the Balloon Fiesta today, what a nice man he is. He took a training session for the kiddies with some players and coaches and he genuinely looked like enjoyed himself and was great with the kids and was a friendly and it was lovely to meet him. In just a short chat I really felt he will be the breath of fresh air and we've made an appointment worth waiting for. Some people just have that certain 'it' and he certainly does.

There was a player there, not sure of his name but I think it was the new Samoan player we signed a few months ago who has just joined us. There was lots of banter going on between him and the others, he's certainly settling in well.

You just have to listen to Pat Lam speak and he almost instantly inspires you. He hardly ever mentions rugby, but he talks about community, legacy, engagement, mentoring and how his teams train to win. It's amazing to hear. He could genuinely usher in an absolutely golden age of rugby at Bristol

The signs are that they have learned the lessons from the last promotion.  Plan ahead.  Also, this is bound to help season ticket sales.  Really hope we go for it good and proper when we return to the Premiership.  No point mucking about.  If we start challenging the crowds will be massive.

I said a year or two ago that Bris have the potential to be a giant in their sport. By the time LJs Europa League deadline has expired Bris could quite conceivably be champions of Europe.

Bristol sign Ryan Glynn until December, I reckon he's come in as cover and then in January when we are all but up TJ Perenara will be announced...

I'd imagine there will be lots of exciting signings if we get an early return

  7. Agree. A BP win every game has to be the target. Whilst the teams we'll be playing against are hardly awe inspiring it will be great to watch the "new" Bristol revolution take shape. Should be a much more exciting and expansive brand of rugby that we've been used to. Bring it on I say!

Poor result today and the first half performance was dire, but what a top man Jamal Ford-Robinson is, gave away 3 bags of kit after the match before he leaves to Northampton. Managed to bag myself a polo shirt which is a couple of sizes too big but a great gesture nonetheless, he'll be missed

Thought the 2nd half was much better, Woodward had an absolute Weston though. JFR is a top bloke and will no doubt be in the Atyeo with Joe Joyce as usual tmrw. He will be missed and it was great to see him and Mitch both score on their last outing in the hoops.

The Montpelier owner wanted to buy a 45% stake in Gloucester, but needed approval from the prem and top 14 members. This wasn't given but 20% was approved. However the Montpelier guy has now called the deal off. Basically 2 competitor clubs have allegedly scuppered investment in a rival. You could say well they would, but my argument is that it's not their business. Article on beeb and shedweb (glos forum) if you want to know more.

Haven't the Prem shafted Bris enough in the past though?

Interesting how Bristol are continuing with signing all these top quality players, whilst London Irish haven't made one signing yet

That's the lottery of the play-offs for you! They've only got a 25% chance of going up
