I thought after that win v. Charlton, that money would be spent on a better calibre of player to enhance the squad that got promoted. Just seems that all that effort will be wasted if they just go straight back down. The sums involved for decent players must be piffling compared to the men's game. A shame.

Seems to me that ETM's vexatious potential de-railing of the SQ is doomed to fail. Whether that automatically assumes that the development goes ahead is moot. It seems clear that what could be a potentially vital shot in the arm for South Bristol in terms of employment could be equally doomed unless a swift resolution is reached. And it would be obvious where the blame for that would lie.

We enjoyed it - the sharing plates we had were excellent, with special mentions for the Cuttlefish and the Bavette. Wine was expensive though I thought. It's quite small but didn't feel too overpowering so there was a nice atmosphere. Jon Lansdown was also there at the same time & seemed to be enjoying himself with his fellow guests. A good addition to North Street.
