We didn't win any of the first 3 games after the last international break, even though it was on Sky it's only one game and we can pick up points at QPR and home to Blackburn. Tammy has obviously been poorly so maybe he shouldn't have started, we haven't got many strikers to choose from currently though. However poor we were at least we won't have to watch rubbish games like that every week like Cardiff fans are going to.

Apparently we have played at their stadium before in a friendly according to a Burton fan: There is only one previous occasion that I can recall that we have played Bristol City. In 1965 the Robins sold us their old floodlights, they became the first floodlights to be installed at Eton Park. Bristol City sent a team for a friendly to mark the switch-on. The score was 4-4. John Atyeo who is a Bristol City legend played that night.

I thought we'd cracked our home form after the 2 games Pembo was in charge (Boro and Brum) where we didn't concede but still looked dangerous going forward with plenty of movement. Now we look like conceding again and little movement up front. Also under Cotts he said max 2 touches before passing and now players are holding onto the ball too long.

You have to remember they are involved in running a Jordanian bank so have an easy line of credit. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a Glazier-type situation where they pay of Higgs with a loan from their bank so Rovers are still in debt but to the Bank rather than Higgs. Since they run the bank they can appoint themselves to run the club and take out salary/bonus/dividends whenever they like, it would all be completely legit and it's the way Man Utd are run, they acquire the club without having to use their own money. Having seen their interview I don't think they're going to go on a spending spree, more like cut costs so the club is profitable for them. We'll only find out the truth when the first set of accounts are published (assuming they are). Higgs has raised expectations on their intentions so he can't be blamed for selling out the club.

Having listened to the interview with the new owners sounds like they aren't going to splash the cash other than pay off the outstanding debts, more interested in developing from the academy. I'm not sure they're as wealthy as some think or they'd be after a bigger club than the Gas. http://www.itv.com/news/west/2016-02-19/jordanian-billionaire-why-i-bought-bristol-rovers/

Pompey thought they had a rich Arab take them over but it turned out he was skint and just wanted their assets.
