  1. Well what can I say.

We were far the better side first 20 mins. Even looked like getting a 3rd and Baldock was proving a handful.

Peterborough were awful. The cross field balls were flying out and nothing was going right.

    We were comfortable

Then a moment of madness. I didn't see it. I followed the ball but then saw their player lying on the floor holding his face. As soon as I saw the linesman waving his flag I knew we were in trouble.

Down to ten men it's been impressive.

Cotterill has put them as two banks of four and were giving up the middle just staying solid.

Jet is the lone striker on the centre circle.

The tackles have been strong. Osbourne had marshalled him, Williams, Moloney and Wagstaff well.

The two midfield boys are coming out of the bank and closing the middle runners this time.

It's hard though. This guy is a classic home towner. He is giving them everything, we really need to be careful, they are looking for a pen and he is liable to give it.

Work to do this half but this is a solid performance with City players chasing everything and running and tackling for everything.

They deserve applauding off in 45 min no matter what happens.

Good goal by them but v annoying to concede when we did.

Where are away fans situated now there's no away stand ?

  2. Genuinely interested in your thoughts.

What can Clegg hope to gain from this?

He has pretty much destroyed the LD's and his personal rating is just above Attilla the Hun.

If, as you say, most people regard Farage as a joke (I don't think 'most' people do, but that's for another day) why engage with him?

On the off-chance he wins, what will he have achieved, and if, as most expect, Farage destroys him, then surely his own political future must be hanging by a thread.

Farage has done this for years - he is a very, very powerful speaker - as many in Brussels have found out.  I don't see what Clegg has to gain. Even if he wins, and exposes Farage and UKIP as totally incompetent, surely Labour and Conservatives will be the winners as I for the life of me can't see it attracting one single extra vote for his doomed party.

    Thanks.

Agree with your comments re Lib Dems being doomed hence I suppose it's the desperate last throw of the dice for someone who must think he's good at debating, based on his poll 'bounce' following the TV 'debates' in 2010.

Farage is certainly a very loud speaker for sure but is it mere hot air ?  The nation will have the chance to judge for themselves !

  3. The 'silly policy' argument against UKIP is astonishing.

Look at some of the doozies from the big 3.

    Unfettered Immigration

Slashing of the Armed Forces  (don't worry, the French will lend us a carrier if we need one  )

    Culling of the Police Service

Deliberate neglect of manufacturing industries (those that are left)

Huge increases in foreign aid to places like Pakistan

And the latest - albeit rejected, but this was a proposal from the Conservatives - the administer expensive medications based on "social contribution"

I'll take Farage any day over scum like that..

    Voters?

The big 3 can forget about the oiks not voting. The people told Cameron and co where to shove his war against Syria, and they are about to tell him where he can shove his EU as well.

And in 2015 the UKIP WILL get MP's.

Haha, you still think that dreamer ??  Unless there's PR UKIP will never get a single MP.
