  1. No. Every fan of every club believes there is a level of media bias against them. There isn’t. I just don’t think many people care about us
  2. Was up Gloucester Road earlier and it’s adorable. All in the pubs celebrating a 1-0 win over Walsall to take them to mid table in league two

Unfortunately so. Currently in a brace. Might be risked if we are struggling but otherwise no need, will be rested up for next season. Recurring problem with his foot.
  4. Love it. These are the sort of conversations that we need to have as a 53 year second division club. Following City I’m overly cynical as a result of years of being slammed back down to earth, but it’s the hope that makes it all worth it as well as the thing that kills you. Yes it’s going to be a struggle keeping these young players together (I don’t think we will) but if there was ever a way for us to do it it was always going to be like this. A group of exceptionally talented young players who have had time to develop together. It’s all going to go to shit, it always does, but there’s nothing wrong with a bit of fantastical excitement every now and again.

Him and Scott both. James is out for the season, but I wouldn’t have him nor King in front of those two anyway.

He won’t be here next season
  7. Yeah good performance and all that but it’s so deflating having to go through that inevitability every week.
  8. That half was everything I expected from a Pearson team when he was appointed, if we can keep this team together and add some resilience in the summer we could be in for something special.
  9. Wow that is an incredible miss from our top scorer
  10. If we can learn how to do this for 90 minutes we will walk the league
  11. I’m probably not going so throwing stones here but 400 is poor. First time this season I’m saying that though.
  12. It’s a tough one. Not the type of game/ground to be bringing in recovering players but equally, that midfield could be overpowered with ease. Would be surprised if we get a result to be honest.
  13. Ie. Yanked off an intimidated 8 year old
  14. It was a tit flash, they flashed their tits
  15. Yes about 10 Cardiff timidly approached Spanish and ended up getting chased down Ashton road
  16. Was like the old days A block stood up
  17. How do you know this is the case? Our manager was talking about 20K having been sold in the presser so someone has misled him too?
  18. The last time we won to beat Cardiff twice in a row was December 2002. There hasn’t been a home win for either side in this fixture since 2017. Let’s hope we can reverse all of that in front of our biggest crowd for two years. I have nervous anticipation for this one, which I haven’t felt in a while. Doing the double over Cardiff would add a little more of a sparkle to this season.
  19. I know? What a classless, humourless, pig-faced comment.
  20. Reminds me of a boxer who knew there was an unbridgeable ability gap so game out swinging in the first two rounds hoping for KO subsequently gassed and got knocked out themselves ?
  21. Is there a policy not to appoint Bristol city fans to this role?
  22. Before it is said, I am fully aware of the circumstances those two took over in. But ultimately, it isn’t that different to Nigel. The wrong appointment would have had us down and out this season. We are in the middle of the table with perhaps the weakest squad we’ve had since those relegation battles. The achievements Nige has had, such as beginning games with 7 academy players, should not be overlooked. Progress is coming and we will bear its fruits soon enough.
  23. The way I’ve thought it in my mind - McInnes had an identical task, on the field and financially, he ****** us up. Sacked. O’Driscoll came in and ultimately couldn’t get a tune out of the squad or show serious signs of an upturn. Nige has come in, dealt with a near enough identical situation and struggled, but is now beginning to do what those two couldn’t. Turning us around and starting to play football we all want to watch. I feel hopeful and optimistic for a powerful future under Nigel. I think he is built of different stuff, and through hard times does not shirk, does not shrink, but works a little harder. The last few games have revitalised me as a Bristol City fan, and I think we are on our way to good things. Stick by the man.
